You've expressed your opinion but have failed to provide evidence that supports the Spherical Earth Hypothesis. The truth of the matter is that all three experiments are rock-solid and airtight. I honestly can't see how a person can still believe in a spherical earth after doing all the experiments.

Firstly, it's you who has demonstrated an inability to tolerate OUR perspective. So much so, in fact, that you registered just so you could post in this thread and display your intolerance to every member of our church. Secondly, we don't condemn - God does. You have posted that you read Pastor Ezekiel's signature so you already know this. Yet you ignore what you know to be true in order to condemn US with a false accusation.

Here is Newton's equation for his law of gravity.
I'll plug in the numbers. Whichever object, the Earth or the balloon, has the higher gravitational influence on the paper (expressed as F) will attract it more so than the other.

F=(G(m1*m2))/r^2

The balloon's gravitational influence on the paper:
Where G is the universal gravitational constant 6.6726 x 10-11N-m2/kg2
Where m1 is the mass of the piece of paper, I am being liberal and assuming it weighs 5 grams.
Where m2 is the mass of the balloon. Again, I'll be liberal and assume it weighs 1 kilogram.
Where r is the distance between the two point masses. I'll assume 10 centimeters is the distance.

Result: F= 3.336*10^-11 newton, or 0.00000000003363 newton


The Earth's gravitational influence on the paper:

On a side note, I am posting this using a satellite internet connection while watching satellite television. Our satellites depend on a spherical earth. The equation I just used is used when figuring our a satellites trajectory. I can literally look up in the sky on a clear night and watch with mine own eyes (let alone through a telescope) a satellite trek across the sky, so don't tell me they are not real or really orbiting the Earth. In addition, images from these satellites clearly show a spherical earth.

Next, to anyone saying people in Australia would fall off the earth, gravity pulls in all directions toward the center of a mass. Gravity does not observe, nor is it restrained by, relative terms and ideas like 'up', 'down', 'left', 'right'. We in North America are not 'on top' of the world. There is not top or bottom, all reference points are valid depending on the location of the observer.

There is so much more here to reply and I just don't have the time. Maybe I'll get around to it.

I have to say, i am blown away by this thread. I knew there were fundamentalists and xenophobes and idiots in the world but didnt suspect people could be such ridiculous combinations of all three.

As a person rooted in logic and reason i almost wet myself laughing at the "experments" suggested in post 1. Balloons and jumping up and down, Really? Australians falling off the planet because its spherical, LMAO.

I've already explained why the optical illusion in the photo appears to be a sphere in either this thread or the other one in this forum that discusses a flat earth. Refute that if you can. Since I know you can't I won't be holding my breath.
