In a story I saw today, a team of physicists from the University of Toronto and Rutgers University claim that they have created a Super Nova in a laboratory. Do they REALLY think we are so stupid as to believe this? If you created a super nova here on Earth, we would be all in Heaven now since the solar system would have been obliterated. More lies from scientists that keep getting more and more ridiculous!

Study: Urban Moose suffering high stress

Anchorage, Alaska. Anchorage moose may seem at ease strolling suburban streets, but science suggests these city moose live with twice the stress of their rural counterparts.
What’s more, a study examining the levels of stress hormones in moose poop concluded that moose in one part of Anchorage were the most anxiety-ridden of three groups studied in the city.
The study was done by Martha Tomeo, a graduate student at Alaska Pacific University. She measured levels of a stress hormone known as glucocorticoids in moose droppings collected at five Alaska locations.
“It’s pretty interesting that these levels were so high for urban moose,” Tomeo said. “We see moose all the time, and most of the time they seem calm. But the overt behavior doesn’t always match what is going on internally.
Tomeo said it’s hard to draw precise conclusions from the study because the environment is different in each location.
But one guess is that skiers or runners zooming past may cause more stress than the constant roar of traffic which moose might consider background noise.
Tomeo is the first to admit her study’s limitations. Ideally she would have had a larger sample size and more groups of moose to compare, she said, and more information about what the animals eat and what kinds of interactions they have with humans, predators, or other animals.
“There definitely needs to be more research,” said Rick Sinnott, Anchorage-area biologist with the state Department of Fish and Game. Sinnott said the density of moose in each location should be considered.
The study, funded by The Mountaineers Foundation and the Alaska Wildlife Alliance, was originally meant to look at whether snow machines stress moose. The study did find that the stress hormone levels in moose from Peters Creek, a popular riding area, were high than those in moose from the old part of Denali National Park, where snowmachining is not allowed.
But Tomeo said the differences are small compared to those between urgan and rural moose or even between different Anchorage locations. “I can’t point a finger at snowmachines,” she said.
Alliance director Paul Joslin said he thinks snowmachines might still be the reason. He would like to see more studies done to see if it makes sense to limit riding when the snow is deep and moose are naturally stressed.
It’s not known how stress affects moose. Sinnott said Anchorage moose appear to be healthy.

This is quite interesting!

Keep in mind that a supernova doesn't have to be a real exploding star that is 1000 times larger than Earth. You could create a tiny replicate in a lab, it could even be the size of an eye. Or smaller.
Question is if you have the tools to analyse such small objects, so they'd probably have to go for something as big as a fist.

I once owned a 1969 Nova SS that was pretty super. Had a nice 327 and a 4 speed. The first S stands for super.

This so called supernova is not really a exploding sun, more a collision between particles that release a great amount of energy, those particles go to a great speed produced by magnets (those particles are sensitive to the magnetic fields) once they go to a fast enough speed, they produce a collision and analyse that collision.

This is usefull for the understanding of the world and the interaction between particles (parts of atoms and molecules).

Ah, I see. This is not a supernova. Instead it's yet another lie by scientists. It's a teensy little spark created by two submicroscopic particles bumping into each other. A spark so small it is invisible to the naked eye.

I guess in eternally frozen Canada any source of heat at all, even the smallest spark is seen as a monumental thing. I wonder how the Canadian scientists would describe a campfire if they had any wood to make one. As a recreation of the fictional 'big bang'?

Those particles (protons and electrons: FACT) has been demonstrated more than 100 years ago, and makes possible that we have electricity trough our computers.

Friend, I don't really understand what's happening here, but from what you say, I think we can all safely agree that it must involve demons. Frightening stuff. Do you know how much space these invisible Canadian demons have influence over?
