See now you are on the right path. The Bible contains exactly what God wants you to read. But the reasons are different, it was never designed to be a manual, but a test. The great test of His faith. Excellent question. It can be as much as a roar to some or as quiet as a whisper to others, depending on how aligned your are to Him. You feel the words as apposed to physically hearing an audible voice. I would imagine none of you have felt this as you have turned your backs to His will. You need to trust that He will speak to you. Do not bury your head in the pages of text, open your heart and your soul to his voice. Allow your lungs to fill with the His will. No one will be able to discount the words you hear, as you will feel the truth resonating inside yourself. If you know they are true, then the will of others means nothing.

Then it would say it's a test, or we're back to my original point.

If it was a test, as you claim, then salvation becomes either a lottery (in which case God is a sociopath and unworthy of worship) or is only open to those with earthly wisdom, in direct contravention of what the Bible says.

Why would an omnipotent being hide down the rabbit holes you imagine?

So basically, you follow your gut, not God. People's guts tell them different things, so if your view were true, there must be many gods -- as many gods as people.

By the way, I know in my heart the Bible is the infallible Word of God. My heart is telling me something different from yours. Whose is right?

God's greatest gift to America, oil, is proving creation once and for all.
When oil companies donates some oil for common men, by releasing little of it to shores for everyone to collect, stupid animals goes playing in it. Do they evolve into oil-resistant while messing up our precious oil? No, they do not. They ruin it by dying in it. They do not evolve at all.

I don't think much can really be done about them. Some beliefs are just so convincing that death may come before their separation from their beliefs. I don't think evolution is going away. I don't believe in excessive amounts of fighting on both sides, like protests, book burnings, harassment and such though. Because, if it boils down to a 'real war', in this day and age that has technology that can basically destroy hundreds, thousands or millions of people with ease, we may end up killing ourselves as much as any adversary.

This does not disprove evolution. Evolution does tell us that the fittest will survive. In an oil environment, these organisms are not the fittest. Your example proves or disproves actually nothing.
