Although the Bible is very specific about the foundations of the Earth and the pillars that support it I don't think there are specifics about a support for pillars. I assume it's His will, in much the same way are the stars don't fall down until He wants then to.

Great. Except if humans followed that logic we wouldn't be discussing the greatness of the lord on the internet for it was thanks to curious scientists we all despise so much that we have all this technology at our disposal.

Science and technology are two very different things.

Curiosity and reason lead people to sin. They lead people to doubt the existence of God, and to allow atheists equal status under the law. This is Biblically forbidden, and will result in eternal damnation. Why would you encourage people to do things you know will only result in their eternal pain and suffering?

So are you saying that the invention of the internet is a bad thing? Sounds like you are against it as it was founded on secular advances in spite of Biblical laws.

If you are indeed against scientific advances how about you leave out any technology science has brought us out of your life. Which will include your cell phone, your internet, your TV and pretty much anything that relies on electromagnatism.

Reminds me of these crazy animal rights activists who make a song and dance about animal rights, but it's ok to wear a leather belt.... And own a leather sofa. On 1 hand you are expressing your hatred towards Atheism and science, on the other hand you are happy to exploit the advances when it benefits you (internet on this occaison). Talk about having your cake and eating it!

That's right, why should we ask the almighty creater about questions like these, we should just be thankfull for doing it and not constantly question his existence and endless power.

We need to accept the FACT that we will never know the answers to these questions as God DID NOT intend for us to wonder about his power and creations. Imagine if your child came and told you that he did not believe that you actually father him, just because we don't understand the human creation. There is a reason we do not, and never will, understand these things!!!

While church goers were busy praying, worshipping the Lord and 'spreading the truth' Scientists were comming up with inventions such as the transistor.

Had these scientists not explored their curiosities and accepted Gods almightiness in all it's glory, the transistor would never have come to light.
As much as you hate athiests, you must give them credit for the technologies they have given you

Please demonstrate that the inventors of the transistor were atheist.

I don't need to prove all scientists are Athiests, as many scientists are Christians. However I doubt there are many Christian scientists who share your views in that the Bible is litural. Most Christian scientists accept the Earth is a sphere

Friend, 'scientists' all work based on 'theories' a 'theory' is nothing more than a guess or a possible explanation for why things are the way they are.
Did you know one 'theory' for a blue sky was paint? Did you know there was a 'theory' of a man traveled faster than 60 MPH, his body would explode? There are billions upon billions of these out there, every single one proved to be total bunk.
The Bible has facts. Facts based on the Creator.
If you want to know what is in a pie, you ask the baker. You want to know about the world, you ask God. You do not ask the dishwasher what was in the pie nor do you ask a 'guesser' what is the world about.

Seeing as we have a different view on what evidence actually is how about we use some common sense rather than try to come up with pictures, videos mathematics etc which obviously won't be adequate here.

I live in the UK. London to Tokyo is just short of 6000 miles, which would take 11 hours to fly.

Anchorage to Tokyo is only a 6 hour flight and 3500 miles.

But London is in the centre of the world map, Anchorage is on the far left and Tokyo is on the far right. By my calculations if the Earth was flat Tokyo to Anchorage would take over 20 hours.

How is it possible to fly from 1 side of the Earth to the other in such a small time ???
