Two journalists in Myanmar sentenced to 7 years in prison for investigating Buddhists killing Muslims

It is a True Joy™ for True Christians™ to see members of other religions, who by definition are destined to suffer in , killing each other. After all, as we all know, God really enjoys watching heathens suffer and die on earth:

That is because heathens worship false gods:

Thus, every event of ethnic cleansing is something to be celebrated (provided that the victims are not True Christians™, obviously).

With all the important stuff that happens in the Godly United States of America, you may not be aware that such event has been going on for a year or so (who can keep track of such details) in the God-forsaken country of Burma or Myanmar (they are so dumb they cannot decide on a single name for their own country). In this case, it is Buddhists committing a well-planned and perfectly executed genocide on Muslims. So much for Buddhists being seen as the "peaceful" ones by the Westerners, LOL!

Why am I talking about this now? Well, as reported today, two nosy journalists got exactly what they deserved for investigating who was involved in the murder of 10 Rohingya (that's the name of the Muslim group that is being eliminated by the Buddhists) men and boys.

YANGON (Reuters) - A Myanmar judge on Monday found two Reuters journalists guilty of breaching a law on state secrets and jailed them for seven years, in a landmark case seen as a test of progress toward democracy in the Southeast Asian country.

Yangon northern district judge Ye Lwin said Wa Lone, 32, and Kyaw Soe Oo, 28, breached the colonial-era Official Secrets Act when they collected and obtained confidential documents.

“The defendants ... have breached Official Secrets Act section 3.1.c, and are sentenced to seven years,” the judge said, adding that the time served since they were detained on Dec. 12 would be taken into account. The defense can appeal the decision to a regional court and then the supreme court.

The verdict comes amid mounting pressure on the government of Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi over a security crackdown sparked by attacks by Rohingya Muslim insurgents on security forces in Rakhine State in west Myanmar in August 2017.

More than 700,000 stateless Rohingya Muslims have fled into Bangladesh since then, according to U.N. agencies.

The two reporters, who were investigating the killing by the security forces of Rohingya villagers at the time of their arrest, had pleaded not guilty....

The reporters were arrested on Dec. 12 while investigating the killing of 10 Rohingya men and boys and other abuses involving soldiers and police in Inn Din, a village in Rakhine State.

Myanmar has denied allegations of atrocities made by refugees against its security forces, saying it conducted a legitimate counterinsurgency operation against Muslim militants.

But the military acknowledged the killing of the 10 Rohingya at Inn Din after arresting the Reuters reporters.

A U.N mandated fact-finding mission said last week that Myanmar’s military carried out mass killings and gang rapes of Muslim Rohingya with “genocidal intent” and called for top generals to be prosecuted. Myanmar rejected the findings.

Burma. Where they used to have a muslim problem.

The socialist media plug an idea "first of the muslim expulsions" at least in the modern era. There's no point listening to anything the muslims say: they want a muslim world. From Burma however they had an opportunity to relocate somewhere the tenets of their religion are laws of the land. To places where what they're trying to establish is already up and running. I don't know why they chose Bangladesh or waited for their time to run out in Burma.

Now to me it seems like the sharia would necessarily produce more-or-less a hell on earth. But that's by my standards. Perhaps my world for a muslim is similarly repugnant? Certainly our standards are very different. I've read The Cairo Declaration, various muslim scriptures and stuff, visited several of their countries, places where their ideas are implemented. Not for me, really. But from the squawking we hear on this topic, from exactly those places where their ideas hold sway, it seems the inevitable predictable and predicted outcomes are just as unacceptable? Seriously? Where is the gratitude?

Burmese idolatry is equally unacceptable to any Christian. And yet the complaints we're getting aren't from muslims living in idolatrous places, aren't from muslims living in secularist places, they're from muslims living in muslim places. So we hear the complaints but quite honestly we stopped taking notice long ago. For a reason.

I distinctly remember as a young child in grade school there being a category called "comportment" on my report card that was regularly delivered to my parents. Being curious, I asked what the word "comportment" meant and was told "plays well with others".

If there's one distinctive feature of the mooselimbs it is having low scores in the category of comportment - and unlike other groups where these low scores have provided incentives for improvement, the mooselimbs have declined and have continued to menace everyone else for over 1,400 years.

I too rejoice every time I hear of the Sunni and Shia mooselimbs warring with one another, and have heretofore applauded our government for at one time or another providing arms to each side to encourage it. I've been having second thoughts about this strategy recently as it seems that their burka-clad women are producing more soldiers for allah than the supply of arms can keep up with.

I'm fortunate to live in a community of True Christians™ here in Freehold that keep Holy the Sabbath - and that means not being bothered by a neighbor that wants to run his lawn mower, weed whacker, and leaf blower on a Sunday morning. If by chance I do encounter such an individual they are politely asked to leave, and due to the efficient administration of our very own Mayor Hold they can ultimately be removed without my having to go about stoning them to death myself.
