You cant simply deny solid scientific evidence and proof. Its like saying: Oh hey look, cars run on gasoline. Look, im putting this gasoline in the car. Look, the engine is filled with gasoline. Look, the car is running. When i take the gasoline out, it stops running.
An unfortunate example. What if I said:
"Oh hey look, cars run on water. Look, im putting this water in the car. Look, the engine is filled with water. Look, the car is running. When i take the water out, it stops running."
Does that prove cars run on water? According to your "logic" to deny that cars run on water is to deny facts.
The "facts" are whatever GOD says they are. He made em and He can UNmake em.
If you were to put everything you know into one book, you think you could do so? Its impossible to put down everything you know, because you cannot recall many things on the spot.
You guys are giving God the appearance of a human body or flesh. You are talking about him like he is a human that had to do all this.
The bible isn't a book of facts. It has general moral statements he may want you to believe. However, where did he say 'ONLY WHAT I TELL YOU IS WHAT YOU SHOULD BELIEVE, AND YOU SHOULDN'T FIGURE ANYTHING ELSE OUT BY YOURSELVES'. If we all thought like this, we'd still be in the stone age. Science has made our world advance weather you accept it or not
If god said 2+2=5, then you should believe him. but he didnt. you people are assuming things. He never said many of the things you infer. According to your logic, you cannot infer or learn anything. the only things you should believe are in the bible. You shouldn't believe that cars exist. you shouldn't believe that Obama is president.
By your logic, that you are inferring, you cannot infer. This leads to an endless contradiction.
'BUT GOD ALLOWS THESE IMPOSSIBLE CONTRADICTIONS BECAUSE HES GOD'
An unfortunate example. What if I said:
"Oh hey look, cars run on water. Look, im putting this water in the car. Look, the engine is filled with water. Look, the car is running. When i take the water out, it stops running."
Does that prove cars run on water? According to your "logic" to deny that cars run on water is to deny facts.
Alright. I'd like to see you put water in the gasoline pump, and cause the car to work. You can put the water anywhere. Your argument is invalid because water cannot power a car whatsoever. However, with todays current technology.
There is an exception where you're right, however. I admit defeat where I see it, unlike you guys. There are Steam Boats that were used that ran on water. But that doesn't really count.
The reason your argument is invalid is because it wouldn't work
And im not talking about rigging the car, or not pressing on the gas peddle or anything. Straight up using water, and taking out only the water. And not using any sly tricks

Steamboats ran on WATER? That's like saying cars are powered by tires.
But do you realize that being an atheist annoys a lot of Christians? It is a sort of dumb insolence to God.

“We must reassert that the essence of Christianity is the love of obedience to God’s Laws and that how that complete obedience is used or implemented does not concern us.”
No one will know which one a person marks will they? I just hope my vote is in confidence

I know God wouldn't let me believe in Him if He didn't exist.

Well im very sorry that i somehow insulted you and the rest of you all on this forum. That was not my intention absolutely not. And if you all allow me i would like to say something:
Im 17 years old and live in Sweden and here the christianity isnt as "big" as it is in the states. Therefore im not very religious of me. I just want to say to you all that im very sorry if i somehow insulted you all. And im not one of those atheists that wrotes stuff like " idiots" etc about christians. Although im not christian im very history interested and would like to learn more about christian history. Even though im not a "true" christian i still think it could be fun to learn more about different religions.
Something that doesnt make me so... happy is the thread about 10 resaons why god hates Sweden. Why do you all think that? Sweden have been loyal to christianity for over 1000 years, Thats even longer than USA! And neither ABBA or IKEA are satanists and the flag in the thread is Denmarks.
Hopefully i can bring up a good discussion wothout any inappropiate language.
