Oh my God! You are absolutely right. I checked todays newspapers and there was no mention in them that Jesus actually existed! You just shattered my faith in Jesus with undeniable logic. Gutted!

Nice try, outside two Roman works written 500 years after his death we have no proof of the existence of Alexander The Great. Keep that in mind that this is like taking a 20th Century history as a primary source on the life of Martin Luther, Queen Elisabeth the Ist of England or William Shakespeare.

Anyway, if you weren't as dense as a fence post you would know Josephus mentions Jesus in his Jewish Antiquities written in 80AD.

Sure thing, the post that Josephus mentions in his letters would be about a man name Christus, Meaning the good. That name was an extremely popular slave name at the time. There is nothing that mentions anything about such a man named Jesus outside the bible. If there is then please post a link to it. If there is then it should be all over the internet. Mind you i would like a credible site, not a site that believes crop circles proves aliens exist.

I will also apologize for this wall of text. But its to make a point.

Just so i can point this out to those that do not know or ever heard but out of a total of 42 writers who lived within a century of Jesus: there is not one line, not one word, not one letter, about Jesus.

Not a single writer before the 4th century – not Justin, Irenaeus, Clement of Alexandria, Tertullian, Cyprian, Arnobius, etc. – in all their defences against pagan hostility, makes a single reference to Josephus’ wondrous words.

the Jewish historian Josephus made no mention of Jesus in his original writings; but that Christian scribes living a couple of hundred years later inserted a reference to Jesus which scholars term as the Testimonium Flavianum ( Ant. Bk. 18.3.3). basically every honest Christian scholar has abandoned [the reference] as an interpolation.

scholarly consensus (including christian/catholic)has shifted to embrace the notion that even though there appears to be tampering with the text.

We have the writings of Josephus that says that Jesus existed and I agree that there is debate about the text however it is still evidence. Can you provide some evidence written in the first century that specifically says that Jesus did not exist? Until you can do this the evidence is on our side.

Even I, an atheist, know that Jesus existed. The question that this other guy should be asking is about God and this community's method of worship. There's lots of racism but Jesus was black. And then, where in the Bible does it talk about people's skin colour differentiating their capabilities?
I'll say this here as my thread was closed due to ack of support for God's exitence:

A "Only those who believe in them get to see them." The people that want to believe in these things will make things up or give vague answers as their evidence for it's existence. The Flying Spaghetti Monster is another example of these stupid questions and answers, but Pastafarians do it on purpose to insult you all.
Also guys, loving the changed name, it was a matter of days before my prediction came true. I must be some kind of prophet.

Burden of evidence is on the believers.

Besides its impossible for evidence to exist of things/people that dont exist. That's like me asking you to provide evidence that Jedi do not exist.

I don't get this trolling thing. I don't really know what it means to be honest. I know we gets group of pubescent idiots coming on here saying that we have been 'trolled' but it means nothing to me. What ever trolling is I'm sure my life is too precious to waste on it. I agree that we could debate Josephus all day but it would be a waste of our time. The passage may have been inserted, I agree that it does not flow with the surrounding text. That is why I would actually consider it to be irrelevant. By the way I think your 'Christus' remark was a confusion with the writings of Tacticus.
