If I attend funerals and weddings, I always donate. Because even though I don't believe in religion I respect it's values to love all those who show tolerance, respect and love to their fellow people. It shouldn't be about labels and judging others on their dress code or what they believe. We're all riding the same bus we call life and don't you have better things to do than shit all over Atheism just because you don't agree/understand with it?
Once again, ignorance is bliss.

But yeah, here is my other thoughts;
I've been reading this forum all afternoon while waiting for work. I've seen threads where God hates a huge list of people. Vegans, goths, atheists... List goes on.
And even this poll;
Atheist Scum -- I hate God/Jesus and would rather worship monkeys.
I'm a queer. What's god?
It all seams more like a list YOU ALL made on things YOU hate. I never remember God showing up himself, proving his existance and showing us a huge list of people who are bad because they live a slightly different life style or different beliefs.
A lot of the Christians on here seam to be leading a huge hate crime against anything they disapprove of, saying your God doesn't approve. Since when are YOU to speak on behalf of him anyway? What makes you so special? You call people queers, claim video games like Minecraft make children sex slaves and claim metal and rock is the sound of the devil.
Yet most artists of thise genre grew up listening to Johnny Cash and respect him as a more modern Elvis. Even HEAVY METAL band Slipknot has members that pray before going on stage. But because they wear masks and express themselves with their life experiences, their art and emotions this makes them evil right?
If that is so, doesn't that makes you evil? You all hate on others and show no tolerance or respect to anyone. I actually joined this forum to set the record straight. Maybe less of us would be arguing with you guys if you didn't act like you know better than everyone.
Funny thing is, I could swing low and talk about Priests who molest children, protesting christians with signs harassing people at abortion clinics. But I honestly don't see the point. I'll get told I'll burn in hell (which if I do, then I do. I'm living my life how I want. It's my life and if there is a being watching over us. I'll make the most of what I have with no regrets. I have a life and I intend to live it, mostly hate free and if they don't like it. Then they shouldn't of given me free will) and blocked just because of my opinion. Yet everyone else can hate and judge away.
Also, what is wrong with homosexuals? They are real people, with real feelings and lives. Once again, it's easy to judge something you don't understand. Loving thy neighbour too much to ask?

You interpret warnings as being "hateful and aggressive". I saw no value in explaining, as Pastor Peters did, that being hateful isn't relevant, we are simply communicating God's Word.
As for the train analogy. I think the two examples are slightly different. A freight train would kill the man instantly, while giving "Christian love" to a man of the "false" faith doesn't affect if he lives or dies at this particular instant.
The man of the false faith will suffer for all eternity, being burned alive in God's Lake of Fire! I think that's somewhat worse than being killed instantly by a train, don't you?
And how do you know that God won't drop a bus on the false-faith follower in five minutes? You could be the last chance the man has to find Jesus before God judges him!

Funnily enough, the second post (And parts of the first) comes off as hateful and aggressive, in my opinion. I was simply asking a question, I never meant any offence.
Also, in the first post you immediately make the assumption that I'm an Atheist despite the fact I made no comments on the matter. I don't think Atheist leaders exist, either.

2nd Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Habakkuk 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Then try Numbers 31, where God commands Moses to exterminate the Midianiates for turning away from Him. (They're allowed to keep the virgin girls as "wives", but have to kill everybody else, even the babies.)
Leviticus and Deuteronomy include instructions to execute adulterers, witches, homosexuals, apostates, and anyone who would try to turn us from proper worship of God. We can happily cite the Scripture for all of those, if you like.
Need more?
Where do your atheist leaders tell you to go to private Christian discussion forums and attack and insult those who don't share your hatred of God? Where do you think the Bible says we should greet those who persecute us (like you) with kisses and a fruit basket?

And we inform them that God tells us in the Bible that He will burn them alive for all eternity for not following Him. Why do you consider it a bad thing for us to warn people of their impending doom? Why do you hate nonbelievers?
