Not true...there have been accounts of Wicca practices and beliefs as far back as the early 1800's - Yes Wicca is based On Pagan beliefs..but Gardner took credit for something he didnt invent...look it up more in depth...you will see for yourself.

Dude, I'm willing to bet that I know a lot more about Wicca than you. Wicca *did* *not* *exist* before the 1950's.

Gardner basically took bits of his 'religion' from Thelema, which oddly enough many Wiccans shun, and also took bits from older versions of Paganism, then the rest he made up.
Incidentally, his close friends were familiar with something else Gardner dabbled in frequently....LSD.

Please don't tell me to look more in depth, dude, I can guarantee I've looked more in depth than you.
As a matter of fact, even though the people at LBC are fundie xtians, I can guarantee that they, too, know a lot more about Wicca and its origins than you.

I don't know what bible you're looking at, but it must be 'Pink and purple rainbow cloud's big book of hippy lurve', because the actual bible is pretty much exactly as these people say it is.
They may not be nice, but at least they're honest about what their book actually says.
Now as you know I'm not an xtian, but, according to the bible, you're the one who's the blasphemer, seeing as, according to the bible, 'if you are guilty of not following one rule, you're guilty of not following all'. (And thus, I think, your religion would condemn you to a big fiery pit).

Hi All...I just wanted to add something here. I noticed that I have been quoted, which is fine. At that time I believed what I said, but I must say that I was wrong. Since then, I have realized the Loving Grace of My Saviour Jesus. I come back to God through Christ's Mercy. I apologize to anyone whom I may have led astray with my "expert" witness. May God forgive me for ever straying in the first place. I know some will see this as being a Hypocrite. So be it...I owe nothing to the world, and everything to God. I simply hope that those who read these words may come to the understanding that Jesus wants you back too. His Mercy extends to you too, all you have to do is reach for it. And I'm having some trouble finding that meaning in any dictionary too.

And the real name for wicca is not "Pagan", fool.
But a pagan is a practioner of paganism. (ie a worthless sinner who's rejected Christ and will burn in hell.)
And paganism has, sadly, been around alot longer than the approx. 50years that wicca's been around too..
