I believe in non-violence, except when absolutely necessary for self-defense or defense of someone who can't defend him or herself. And I would NEVER hit my child.

I hate no one. I don't don't happen to believe that hitting a person is a way to express love. On the rare occasions when my daughter misbehaves, I take away some of the privileges she enjoys - tv, internet access, talking on the phone, driving, socializing with her friends, etc - for an interval commensurate with the severity of the misbehavior.

Which is exactly why she continues to disobey you. Which is exactly why she'll probably grow up to be a lezbean who hates Men. Which is exactly why you are both going to spend eternity in satan's rape rooms, gulping sulfur. Praise Jesus!

Why was she allowed to misbehave like that in the first place??
You mean that you punish her misbehaviour by taking it away?
You should have done that to begin with..

Socializing with anyone who isn't a believer is a sure way to hell!
Children are young and impressible, and they should be isolated from sin as much as possible.
No phone, and she should only be allowed to watch Christian TV, such as evangelist shows.. Women shouldn't drive either.
And you should ban internet access to anything except a few Christian pages, such as this one.
And as I said earlier, no socializing.. Keep her indoors as much as possible.
Women are property, and valuable property isn't left outside the house, now is it?

What you should do is buy her a KJV1611 Bible and teach her how to cook and clean properly.

You should have done that to begin with..

You sound like you think I should punish her before she misbehaves. Why punish misbehavior that hasn't occurred? That makes no sense. As I said, her instances of misbehavior are rare, because she likes her privileges and doesn't want to lose them.

Socializing with anyone who isn't a believer is a sure way to hell!
Children are young and impressible, and they should be isolated from sin as much as possible.

The other day, she was channel surfing and let out a scream - the image of Tammy Faye Bakker with her makeup applied with a mortar trowel had scared her. We're not into horror-show freaks.

And you should ban internet access to anything except a few Christian pages, such as this one.

                      LMAO! That's a good one.

My daughter and I are NO ONE's property. She is her own person, and I am quite proud of her.

What you should do is buy her a KJV1611 Bible and teach her how to cook and clean properly.
She is free to read any book she wants, including any translation of the Bible or any other holy book she wants. She has a library card and a driver's license, as well as an after school job and a Barnes and Noble Member card.
As for cooking and cleaning, she plans to make enough money as a photojournalist after she graduates from high school and then college to be able to hire someone to do that for her. I say more power to her.

                        Her "privileges" IS misbehaviour, stupid!
Young girls are not to socialize, watch tv, drive, use computers, or even be out of the house.

No, misbehavior is doing what I have told her not to do, or not doing what I tell her to do. She has my permission to socialize (in fact, our house is a popular gathering place for her friends, which means they're not running the streeets getting into mischief), watch tv, drive, use the computer, and go out as long as I know where she's going and she calls home to let me know if her plans change.

God says we are right. No how do you expect us to belive? This is a classic case of a He said, she said. Tell you what; explain to us why you think you know better than God Himself.

Simple - I don't believe that the words in your book came from the lips of God. I believe that, like all other books, it was written, translated, and edited by ordinary mortal human beings.

Well the prove to us God didn't write it. Right now all I have is your opinion on the matter and frankly I see you just motivated by self interest. You don't want to believe God wrote The Bible because you are too selfish to go into a shed one week month and not make people sick.
