I haven't found much funny in the books of the Bible.

Then again, this little anecdote always makes me chuckle!

Luke 16: 19-26

19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

Isn't that a happy tale! We True Christians will be in Heaven, able to look down upon those unfortunate billions who did not love and unquestioningly obey Jesus in all things, and laugh . . . and they will be able to look up from the Lake of Fire and see us, roasting marshmallows.

and how is a Sci-fi tale that is basically an allegory for England in the late '70s going to help you friend? Only the Bible can do that. Look friend, this who thing about other worlds and alien races is utter nonsense; the stars are nothing more than fixtures in the firmament, that is all. I agree, its just fiction and you shouldnt base anything on that. It doesnt have a "truth" in it accept for the fact that towels are quite usefull. But you could have leaned that anywhere

Yeah, thats probably true.
But getting rid of them is a creative proces. Try whatever works bets for you. And if a fiction book helps you with that, so be it.
