      Welcome to the forum, Furret

      According to the pastors and brothers here, I'm not a TC, and I'm not a minister of the Catholic church ...

      ... I'm a liturgical minister of the Episcopal Church. Of course I consider myself a real Christian, but they don't think so. It doesn't bother me in the slightest ...

      Yep, I agree that people with all kinds of beliefs can be very nice, and get along, yes it does matter how we treat others.

      ... have fun!

        Re: What religion are you?

        exactly. What should matter is how we treat others, not whether their religion is correct in our own eyes. I respect that everyone has different beliefs. There are so many different forms of Christianity, that they all cannot judge others. Doesn't it make the world worse if we focus on our own religion, and what we consider normal? I mean, wars are started that way. Look at the crusades. Look at the two different forms of Muslim, that has them fighting. Everyone who is that close minded contributes- either directly- or indirectly to the prejudice in the world. Differences are not reasons for us to fight. That's like Saying I hate you because your hair is brown. Who cares what color your hair is? It is bull crap if you ask me. I don't hate the "True Christians" on this forum. I hate their close mindedness. Good people come from all over the world, from sick children with aids in Africa who give their last piece of food to their brother, even though they are so close to death, from people in Asia who work as police men, to keep the problems off the road. Don't get me wrong, some people are indeed bad people, but you can't say all of them are bad. They say that The United States is such a godly country, yet can't other countries be good as well? If you base your accusations on some people in foreign countries, look at the people on the streets in New York City. YOu have to worry about drugs, prostitutes, surviving, being mugged, and your godly United States government hasn't done anything to make it better. They have tried, but it hasn't worked. If you can base your assumptions off some bad people, that makes it seem ok to judge the United States By cities such as New York City, Detroit, Chicago, and many others. That is exactly what i mean. and btw, Thanks for the welcome!

          Hmm. and yet, you would sacrifice children to your lord if he asked it, does that make it right? Not all religions that believe in Reincarnation believe in sacrifices. Look at the Buddhists. You people on this forum would sacrifice an innocent child, if you thought it would save him from the devil.

                    No we don't, because we're not tramps (bums if you're American.) These homeless crackhead scroungers haven't given any money to Jesus, so why should we care about them?
                    They have tried, but it hasn't worked. If you can base your assumptions off some bad people, that makes it seem ok to judge the United States By cities such as New York City, Detroit, Chicago, and many others.
                    They shall all be wiped off the map when Jesus returns. We are True Christians™, so judge us by a single instance of a True Christian™ doing anything wrong. Go on, I challenge you to find such a thing. As for the tedious peace and love nonsense in the rest of your post, well:
                    2 Chronicles 15:12 And they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;
                    13 That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.
                    Got that?
                    O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

                    God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

                      Gosh Brother T, you do have a sharp eye and never miss a post! I meant to say that we Episcopalians are catholic (the word means universal) by tradition and descent: in that we have been descended from Roman Catholicism.

                      From the Nicene Creed:

                      We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.

                                There is no such thing as 'wiccan'. You are a witch. Calling witches 'wiccans' is like calling qweers 'gay'. It sounds better but it means the same thing.
