    Re: Ask about Paganism

Well of course they don't eat Christian babies anymore. It's much safer and easier for them to eat aborted babies these days.

Listen, pal; We know very well what you witches get up to. We've been studying them and doing Creation Scientific research on them for years. And what about incidents like THIS?

I hope you stick around for hunting season.

Well, I'll try to answer a part of your question.

Pagans DO NOT eat babies. There are, unfortunately, people in this world who do, in fact, eat other humans, even babies. Those people are NOT pagans, they are insane, twisted, wicked people, mentally ill, unstable people who do not know right from wrong.
Maybe SOME of those people are, in fact, pagans, maybe they worship different gods, maybe even demons, but you cannot generalize pagans as baby-eaters based on that. Notice MAYBE in my previous sentence as a VERY important part of it!

Now to the part where I'm answering part of your question.

Anyone who does that knows that it's wrong. Maybe he thinks it's the right thing, but he knows it's not socially accepted, therefore he knows something isn't right, and that's the reason he would deny it and lie about it.

One more thing, I am not trying to create a disorder here, I am just trying to help people realize it's not all black&white, that pagans/wiccans are NOT bad people even though we do not worship Jesus.
After all, the main rule of Wicca is DO NO HARM! I am not trying to convert anyone, I'm just sick of people thinking ill about things they DO NOT know.

You are very, very right here.

I'm glad you've pointed out this. Sadly, they won't listen to you, as they need to make up "evils" to fight, in order to draw attention away from their own, dubious activities. I strongly recommend you to read this thread, it is hot news here in Freehold: you will see what lurks behind the hypocrisy of these people.
An it harm none, do what thou wilt.

And therefore let there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honour and humility, mirth and reverence within you.

No I'm not, but I don't see anything wrong in being gay. In spite of what you may think, being gay is NOT a choice, it's a biological thing. A choice is to be bisexual, but to be gay is pure nature.
And no, I am not bisexual either. Though I wouldn't mind a bit of experimenting, everything in due time.
For the record, I'm in a very stable relationship for over 5 years and we're engaged to be married.

Yes, I figured as much. I will keep trying, though, someone must have enough brains to cope with it

As for the hypocrisy, unfortunately, it's everywhere and I am most certainly not surprised to see it here. I've learnt a long time ago that those who claim to be strictly religious, are the most hypocritical ones.

I have a question for the pagan. What do you get out of worshipping Satan? When you light candles and draw pentagrams and sacrifice animals, you are essentially selling your soul to him. Why do you do that? Don't you know you will go to Hell for that?

Wrong again. Pagans do not worship Satan. Satanists worship Satan. BIG difference. HUGE!

And if you figured that I sacrifice animals, than you have seriously misunderstood the term VE-GE-TA-RI-AN. The reason I am vegetarian is because I believe we are all equal and one of my main principles is DO NO HARM. I believe that eating animals and wearing their fur and hide is wrong because I consider them my FRIENDS. I'm sure you're familiar with the term. I would never harm another being, and yes, animals ARE, in fact, beings.

And one more thing. I believe that Satanists don't really mind the fact that they're going to Hell. I think that's the general idea, actually. But then again, as a Wiccan, I do not believe in the concept of Hell, so I wouldn't really know.
