    Please read/heed this

I apologize in advance if I have made this thread in the wrong section.
Please read this though. It is important.

I have been lurking your site for about a week now. I read a few older replies in active threads and I noticed how most if not all of you make it very clear that there can be no such thing as a harmony between religion and science. That is why good Christians never visit a doctor or take medication either.
I concur. But we are forgetting a significant evil here, and just by your presence here you have shown to have been corrupted by it. I am of course talking about the computer.

The functioning of computers is largely based on information science, and is therefore uncompatible with the practice of Christianity. Furthermore, I have observed that it is wicked in another way as well. The computer, and any technological gizmo for that matter, tempts us to avert our eyes, our minds and our hearts from the Lord. Addictions to the internet by people who have lost their way are increasing. Children, teenagers and adolescents have lost their sense of priority and would rather waste time with idle chatter on Facebook or Twitter than to focus on praying or Bible study. This is a clear-cut case of a moral compass having lost all sense of directions if there ever was one.

I beseech all of you to decrease activity on the internet and to, in the long run, eschew the use of the computer altogether. This "technology" is wicked, and he who claims that it can be put to good use is the Antichrist.
There is nothing that technology can do better than faith. Communication on a higher level (i.e. prayer) take priority over interpersonal communication, especially with people who have already found their way and are sure to go to Heaven.

Yes, I know that I am being hypocritical and sinful myself now. However I sin only to prevent you from sinning even further. I pray that my sinning just now will not have been in vain, and I will ask for forgiveness.
It is not too late yet. Using computers and computer-related communication technology puts science in a stronger position than it deserves to be. We mustn't allow this to continue.
    God bless you.
    Jude 1:17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
1:19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

Your mind is beset by demons. Charles Babbage, who invented the computer, was a man of God and intended that it be used to spread His Word.

I expect you to leave Landover now and not return until you are purged of those demons.

        Dear Jordan;

If you were an actual Christian, you would know that God approves of computers.

We have to look at the Book of Exodus first:

Ex:38:21: This is the sum of the tabernacle, even of the tabernacle of testimony, as it was counted, according to the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, son to Aaron the priest.
This is summing – adding things up to get a True / False answer

        Now look at this:

Le:25:29: And if a man sell a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year may he redeem it.
Le:25:30: And if it be not redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be established for ever to him that bought it throughout his generations: it shall not go out in the jubile.
Le:25:31: But the houses of the villages which have no wall round about them shall be counted as the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubile.
        And here we see conditional summing - =IF(Houses<Walls,SUM(H:H’), TRUE,IF(WALL=0, JUBILE),IF(HOUSE=CITY, TRUE),JUBILE))

I do not think there is a clearer example of the hint from God that Computers would be Godly.

Now please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.
        Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

The internet is little more than the sum of its parts... but surely you are not suggesting True Christian™ sanctuaries like the Landover Baptist Church are anything short of Godly? This is a house of GOD. The LORD guided me to this sanctuary. That there are such islands of Light in this dark and sordid quagmire gives me renewed hope.

The internet and computer networks are no more inherently evil than those who populate them.

          Jer. 17

[9] The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
[10] I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Because it is a vast network of human expression, we can't expect it to be any holier than the people who build it. But, we can make a difference overall. At its most innocent, the Internet is really about making connections and sharing resources. And...

          Rom. 14
[14] I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

If we take the proper precautions, True Christians™ can enjoy and employ these resources to do the work that The LORD has called us to do.
May the call of Jihad be forever outshined, outmatched, and outlasted by the The LORD's Crusade, to the end of eternity and the extinction of mortal flesh. Let those who march against it in His name be as giants - pure of heart, strong of body, honored, invulnerable. May those warriors be burning stars in the firmament of battle, angels of death on shining wings, bringing swift annihilation to the enemies of CHRIST. Amen.

A computer is nothing but a tool, neither good nor evil in its own rights.

Are cars evil because people steal them?
Is marriage evil because some choose not to honour it?

I have to walk down the street whether there are good or evil people on it, does the people on the street make it good or evil? What about the grocery store? It sells items of sin, does that mean I shouldn't buy food?
