well I would try and be tolerant... Maybe it's because where I come from it is not as bigger problem... I think that everyone needs to have the power of choice which Jesus said he gave to us when he died on the cross (Free will)... I do not bealive in forsing/scarying into religion only because people are going to go agenst what you have to say even more if you make it an obligation... I think that a faith and a religion are two diffrent things... A faith is something that you will truely belive in and is the very reason you wake up in the morning... A faith is waking up and knowing you are safe where a religion is just another thing you do on the weekend... To me a religion means somthing you are foursed to beileve and live by where a faith can never be choosen for you because you need to take the jorney to find it yourself

This is interesting, because I have never heard of, or read where Jesus, peace be upon him, said that. Would you be so kind as to point out where in the Gospel he says that? I am eager to learn more about my own faith.

This is also interesting. If I may ask, how would a Christian take the journey to discover their own faith? What I mean is, the tenets of our faith are spelled out clearly, by what God has spoken, and what is written in our scripture. Without this scripture, what are we faithful to? The core tenets, the foundation of our faith, is plain for us, and takes simple consideration to easily understand. Where do we go for guidance - God's word, or our own corruptable opinion? How do we interpret his will? We have faith that he exists above all else. That is truth above all else. But since we know he exists, should we pay attention to his words, or not?

Do you believe that, when someone has faith in God, they should trust him, or not? Do you believe that, when God gives us direction, or when he speaks, we should obey him, or not? He has spoken very little to mankind directly. We have but brief glimpses into his wisdom. But it is indeed very clear that his words are important, and indeed, his words are what our whole faith is built upon, for he has given us part of his wisdom and very clear directions with which to keep us on the straight path - to the Kingdom of Heaven.

What does faith in God mean to you, and where do his actual words come into that?

I can see that I am wasting my time trying to change your mind about your hatred for wiccans... I can not stress that Hatred from people who are meant to be loving towards people in a world full of Hatred and violence is not what anyone needs... I am not a Christian I and I am not atheist... Not sure what I am but I am thinking that maybe I am not going to find what I am looking for in a religion here... If we all still followed the Old Testament we would still all need to go get a sheep and make a sacrifice with it just to even speck to God... And the witch trials where made by Catholics that became corrupt and they died out over the dark ages because it became illegal from what I understand... You are not are only using that as a way to scare people out of what they believe

Wow. Besides your general lack of knowledge about religion and faith, you are lacking in the history dept., too. Someone who knows so much about witches should have a rudimentary knowledge about the Salem witch trials.

1. The U.S.A. was not founded during the middle ages!!
2. The U.S.A. was founded by Christians NOT Catholics.
3. Witch trials died out because they caught and killed all the witches~! Praise Jesus!

are you talking about me or mini89 when you are saying "Besides your general lack of knowledge about religion and faith, you are lacking in the history dept" I might be young and still learning but I do know from the experiences that I have come across... And I am very sorry that I do not know a terrible lot about history because it doesn't help that my teachers are to busy worrying about all this stupid global worming stuff to teach good old history... The only reason I know so much about witches is because I have friends that are Wiccans and I would certainly trying to form my own options on what I believe and think

Perhaps it is my own words that are at fault. English is not my first language, and perhaps I do not get my point across because of this.

It is unfortunate that you do not understand my questions, because I am eager to learn from you, since you claim to have knowledge on these things, and came here especially to tell us. You make some interesting claims about our scripture, and what it means to have faith in the Christ, peace be upon him.

Perhaps I am asking the wrong questions. I do not think it is your understanding that is at fault, because this would not make sense with what you have said prevously, in that you proclaim to have this knowledge. I would not call you a liar, without giving you chance to speak honestly. I would be glad if you could share this understanding of the Gospel that I do not have.

But I will say to you that I do not hate witches, just because God hates witches. Only that I have faith in God, and faith that his words are important to follow.

Why are your teachers worried about Global warming? They should be worried about the large number of illiterates they send out to the world every year. If you are not happy with your education why are you not being home schooled?

As for Wiccans, yes you are ignorant. It seems that your friends are lying to you, probably to try and lead you away from Christ. You cannot be a Christian and have satanic friends.
