Cranky Old Man this is by far the stupidist alligation i have seen you post. Your reason #1 is that soccer is all about lying and cheating. Its not. Its a sport, just like football, tennis, etc. Referess may make a bad call but that is in EVERY sport and isnt the actual sports fault. #2 Soccer players want to be treated like prophets...Have you asked a soccer player what he wants? who are you to act like you know what goes on in everybody else's mind? #3 Soccer is about sex and drugs...seriously...again its about the sport and just like EVERY OTHER SPORT some atheletes may take drugs to inhance their preformance and that is wrong. But you really have no place to comment on people taking drugs because you clearly are on something and its not life and its not God. I could rant on and on all day about how wrong you are but I have a life and I dont take all my hate and discontent out on random things. You are angry at the world that is clear to see but nothing MAKES anyone doign ANYTHING. God gave us a choice. we CHOOSE what we want to do with this blessed life. DId you catch that? SOME people. Its not the sports fault. I am only saying this because i play soccer and i dont think it has Gods hate on it. When I was growing up all I heard about God was that he was all love and forgiveness. Since I found this site it seems that the only thing you people talk about here is Gods hate. I honestly do not believe God hates soccer. However everyone is intittled to their opinion. You are and so am I. No one knows for sure whos is the 'right' one though. We can only pray.

Before you complain about the the fact that the verses I cited were from the Old Testament, as if that somehow makes them worthless, consider this:

In the Old Testament, it says that God hates "all workers of iniquity" (Ps 5:5).

In the New Testament, what does Jesus say that he is going to do to these workers of iniquity? Is he going to love them? Is he going to be their pal, and tell them that it's ok to be themselves? Let's see...

Matt 13:41-42 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
