No, actually the Irish and Scottish arrived after Australia was well established. There was a government, and by that time most people had been settled into farming and other land. The Irish and Scottish were subject to harassment even as late as the 1890's. And the worst behaved in Australia, I think you'll find, are the "skin heads" (quote from Aus. I would urge you to investigate further in these matters before claiming that my comments are false or inacurate. One thing that Muslims have done to benefit Australia? For one thing, Afghan Camaleers were the only way to communicate and send supplies through the harsh Australian deserts. Following this, a train line was built, and the train that runs on it is now called "The Ghan" and has the symbol of an Afghan on his camel on it, this is a national icon. Also, Muslim doctors come from overseas to fill in the positions in hospitals which Australian doctors cannot, and thus help the community.

You have misunderstood the meaning of the word Jihad. There are two types: defending ones Religion in a place where Islam is supressed, and the most common type of Jihad, which is the personal struggle to attain a healthy spiritual and physical life. Also, your argument is fatally flawed, in that there are more references to warfare and executing people in the Bible then there is in the Qu'ran. Also, the reason that no Islamic group forbids Muslims from waging Jihad is for the reason that I gave you with regard to the meaning. Jihad in its pure form is either defence of Religion, or a personal jihad which one goes through everyday. The meaning of the word Jihad is struggle, and hence it describes the struggle of everyday Muslims to perfect their faith.

Thank you for this statement. It is people like yourself who are needed to ensure that dialogue and peace is sustained between all mankind, not just factional religious groups and faiths. Fr Martin's point is a good one; one of Prophet Isa (Jesus) Peace Be Upon Him was that of peace, and this is why he never fought against the Pharisees or even hated them. Instead he loved them, and prayed to God that he should spare them. If you believe that Jesus is God, or the Son of God, then shouldn't you attempt to at least try and act as he did, and bring a message of peace to the world?

Brother, most Christian theologians agree that the message of Christ is overwhelmingly one of peace. And you have not refutiated The Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him)' and his stance with the pharisees. I do not spit on Jesus Christ. Where have I insulted the Prophet Isa Alaihisalam (Jesus peace be upon him)? Have I noted anything that is incorrect, for instance in my statements about the Pharisees? also, Muslims are not fornicators. Fornication is forbidden by Islam. Also,we are not idolers. We worship the same God as you. We are not moon worshippers. I am not telling to you follow me, I am requesting you that you accept that I and Muslims, Jews and others are human beings, and God's creation. Friend, you are misunderstanding Jeb's question about Arabic inventions. He asked you to name something invented by Muslims within the past 500 years. You keep responding with links to lists of Arabic/Muslim inventions that are all older than 500 years. I looked though every list you posted, and every single invention listed is more than 500 years old.

Is this your way of admitting that the Islamic world has created no new inventions in the last 500 years?

Are you aware that one doesn't need to order special literature from a Christian church to learn about inventions from the Christian world? One also doesn't need to order special literature from a Shinto temple to learn about Japanese inventions.
