Only you can improve yourself young friend. Others can not do that for you. Now go read your Holy Bible!

To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!

I am not saying I am perfect, but in no way am I stupid. So there is no need for that short bus badge. I am not a Christian so no I am not going to read the Bible. However I do read about different philolosphies and religions.

Ask about credits for a course on logic. To an atheist such as yourself, Christianity would fall under "different philosophies."

Hey, you reckon you're smart; why is it that the low IQ are always atheists? Is Christianity so hard to comprehend?

(A good answer might get you off the short bus.)

I don't need to take a course on logic. Who said I was an athiest? I never said anything about me being an ahiest. Why do you assume my IQ is low? First off you don't even know me so therefore you have no idea what my IQ is. I used to be Catholic and then a Baptist when I was a kid. That is all thanks to my father, but he died when I was 8 years old. No, it is not hard to comprehend. From my knowledge of religion in general including Christianity it was created and is used to control people. For example when they say masturbation is a sin, in all reality it is natural. They just want you to feel guilty about it because supposedly since your not procreating like the "Bible" or "God" says so then it is so called a sin. That is all it is about is guilt for doing what is in human nature or natural
so that they know we will slip up and then have to come confess of our so called "sins" or go to church for it and pay for them. To make it simple this religion is not for me and never has been.

So it is not a meme, or even a gene, as your friend Dawkins would say? Some evil power hungry guy just "invented it" and the rest "bought into it"? And you are just too smart to buy into it. Is that what you are saying?

              Just asking.

Other question: this only counts for Christianity, not for other religions, right?
              Psalm 81:10:
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt:
open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

I am not saying some evil hungry power guy invented it. Actutally a bunch of people invented Christianity and more than one person wrote the Bible. It was created in a time when people needed something to explain things that they did not understand. Today we have since to explain things backed up with evidence and facts. Of course there still are people that do not want to let go or give up their beliefs in the religion. I just can see through it all and see what they are doing. Lets just say I don't follow things blindly, I see very clearly. Since this is a Christian forum I decided to use an example from Christianity. Also, I want to make this clear with eveyone that I am not an athiest. I have friends who athiests, but I am not one.

What really makes me mad is when some Christian pundit, who can read the Bible for himself, decides to make up his own rules about sin.

What could be more clear than that tatoos are a sin.

Along comes some "smart" guy who says, "Oh, we need to look at the passage in the context of those times. Decorating your body then might have meant something different than it does today."

No, God does not change the rules. A sin in Biblcal times is a sin today.

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

I find it very amusing how God sometimes punishes the ones not living by the Bible even before they die. Like some homosexuals. Surely they will burn in Hell for eternity, but occasionally God intervenes and gives them a little something in the mean time, like AIDS.

It’s the same thing with many of those who are foolish enough to get a tattoo. God intervenes and there you go, a misspelled or ugly tattoo for you to where until you are no longer among the living. There are numerous examples of this:

The most common misspelled tattoo there is; the word: believe (in its different forms). Is it a coincidence that it is this particular word? I wouldn’t think so.

The Norwegian soccer player John Carew wanted to have a tattoo on his neck saying: “My Life, My Rules” in French. Well, God thought “My Life, My Menstruation” was more appropriate and made it happen.

Do you think a tattoo of your child sounds like a good idea? Think again. You don’t want to have an image of a mongoloid hobbit etched on your skin for the rest of your life.

This man went for his first tattoo. God didn’t approve. Instead of a red rose on his shoulder he got the full body reptile package

                        Stop whining
(1 Thessalonians 5:18) - In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
(1 Corinthians 10:10) - Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer
(Psalm 106:25) - But murmured in their tents, And hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD
(Ephesians 4:29) - Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers
