I'm new to all his Christianity stuff, but where exactly in the bible is stated that you can use a gun?
I'm just asking this because those things with roots eastern "religion" are very evil, in example this "karata" Revr. Green taught me about in his post. And as far as I know, guns require some sort of gunpowder, which was founded in china.

God's chosen frequently employed the superior weaponry of the time in which they lived. While mere women sometimes employed improvised weapons, such as a tent peg in the Book of Judges, no saved person in history uses Karate. Karate is gook stuff and anyone who uses it is a traitor to America, God's chosen nation.

Just say the names of these "arts" aloud: karate, taekwondo, aikido, jiu jitsu, judo. Do these sound like things a True Christian would practice? No. They sound like things you would marinate a dog with.

As the good Rev. Green pointed out, these traditions are all based in Zen, or the emptying of the mind, which is a form of spiritual suicide. God tells us we must always keep Him in mind.

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Just like a woman who walks the streets in revealing attire invites strange penises to enter her, so too does purging one's mind of Christ open it up to all sorts of horrors, including demon possession. Sure, the martial "arts" might be useful in a bar fight, but is it worth casting off the Armor of God?

Christianity has only been around for 2,000+ years. The Bible has been waiting for you to read it ALL that time!

As Brother Jenkins explained, we improvise any method of control to re-educate and conquer. If the Bible had to specifically mention everything it authorized, it would be ten miles thick and impossible to read.

For instance, it tells us explicitly that homosexuals are worthy of death (Romans 1:26-32), as well as implicitly on matters such as abortion (Proverbs 6:17), that we can congregate in rooms of a house (Acts 1:13), or that we can attend general social functions (I Cor. 10:27), etc.

In the case of guns, Luke 22:36: "now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one." Had guns existed in Jesus' time, He would have had His disciples marching across the lands with M16s and AR15s, conquering in His Name (Acts 1:8) like we do today.

Has anybody heard of Krav Maga? Apparently this is a martial art created (stolen) by Israeli Jews, though I believe it is actually the fourth-most popular Jewish combat style after Nose Fencing, the historical art of Nail Fu, and Shooting Palestinian Children In The Back Of The Head.
