The second is something true Christians shouldn't concern themselves with. For to be close to God you are told to give up all your worldly possessions and allow your God to provide you with the bare essentials for survival.

Here is a small tidbit that I found.

16 Now, look! a certain one came up to him and said: “Teacher, what good must I do in order that I might have life into the ages/everlasting?” 17 He said to him: “Why do you ask me about what is good? Just a small amount of scripture to show my points. I am not without integrity.

As for the accusers trying to imply that I am for sweeping child rape under the rug, this is not so. I just do not believe it is a phrase that should be thrown around with such lack of discretion. It is a horrible thing and a serious matter, one that I do not take lightly.

I know very well what is right and what is wrong. I do to others as I would have them do to me, but it is not God's law that binds me to such actions. Even chimps know what is right and how they should treat each other, in a primitive matter anyhow.

I know there are Atheists out there who seek to abolish religion. I seek to find a balance. Religion is important, it binds the masses and keeps people without direction pointed towards a proper path. However, not all of us need it.

I see people suffering all around it, and pray as they might nothing happens. It is the actions of man that keep people safe in a fire fight. No holy scripture or hymn will bend a bullet from the path to your heart, but a man willing to get in its way will save you.

There are atheistic protectors of the innocent all around you, I know a few myself. You just need to open your eyes and see them.

We are giving plenty for the needing as we tithe our Church as good Christians should. Anyway, I asked to show scripture where we are to give away ALL possessions. Here Jesus is talking to person who has not given anything to needing before and is merely asking him to sell belongings.

Belongings are stuff that you carry arond, they are not your house, five cars or state of the art computers in your modest villa.

Also creation myth that the bible is just boring compared to the ones from native American tribes and ancient Greek mythology. The bible creation myth is just about how god just created stuff in 6 easy steps. Adam and eve never existed and if they did then the human race must have been created through incest because Adam and eve were the only people on earth along with their children.
