I enjoy beating my children with crowbars, give it a try!

What's the point in teaching them a lesson, when you're braking their bones with a piece of metal?

They'll grow afraid of crowbars. What will they do when they need to use one to fix a piece of machinery and are too scared to use it?

I don't think you need to be that harsh while punishing them.
