God Bless you for not knowing.

Take my advice, don't research the question. Accept Jesus now, before it's too late.

And kindly stop derailing our Godly threads. These witch books have nothing to do with daughters refusing to marry their rapist.

Ye-e-e-s That's because it's a fictional location in an avowed work of fiction. How is that remarkable?

Quite simply, what value would faith and obedience have if we were unable to choose to believe or not, and unable to choose whether to obey or not?

    We'd just be robots!

God doesn't want robots; He wants people who obey because they want to please Him and not spend eternity in His Lake of Fire, being burned alive forever and ever.

I thought Good Christians were supposed to accept and love everyone?
Please reconcile that with the Biblical command to set ourselves apart from sinners and infidels, and to execute apostates, adulterers, homosexuals, witches, and fornicators.

How come so many men still marry women with children? and love the children as their own?
Many men aren't True Christians™. It's not really that complicated; they don't much care if their wives are virgins.

My firstborn was a daughter, and I have two others after her. I have always thought my oldest was the most important.
    Is that a question?

What about women who can't have children of their own? Maybe as a result of an injury or just genetics?
    Allow me to explain:

    God is all-knowing and all-powerful.

Therefore, anything that happens is His Will; either He directly caused it, or He knowingly allowed it to happen.

So, if a woman is unable to bear a child, it is because God has decided it should be so.

What if the rapist continues to rape other women? What if they have children with one or more of those other women? What should happen then?
It will get mighty expensive for him, having all those wives and children to raise!!

Yes, but you're asking daft questions about our opinions of God instead of going and reading a Bible and marvelling about how powerful and wondrous our Lord is.
    Matthew 27:50-54
50Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. 54Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

For example how great is our Lord! When He temporarily died there were bodies rising from the dead and wandering around Jerusalem and earthquakes. How could anyone miss this at the time and doubt He was the son of God?

Ask any soft Christian if the dead walked when Christ was crucified and see how many answer correctly. This is why you MUST read the Bible if you are to truly understand God instead of asking people.

Romans 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

Isaiah 29:16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

Romans 9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

God saw your silly question coming.
