Defending Harry Potter for one thing, but this makes it even more clear: Yes I already noticed that. Why then do you call yourself a Christian? Why do you think God made the parts of the Bible you disagree with? There is something terribly wrong with your priorities. You should not focus on enjoying things, you should focus on getting into Heaven!

Well, maybe if the Harry Potter stuff was true. But I've loved Harry Potter since I was little, and I'm still a virgin. I've never been into witchcraft. It never made any of my friends 'harlots'.
I call myself a Christian because I believe in God, and believe Jesus is the son of God and died to save our sins. But my best friend is gay, and I'm not ignorant to his way of life, and so I find it hard to accept that part of the Bible.
And I'm allowed to enjoy reading. Would you prefer me to go out and enjoy snorting cocaine or sleeping around?

I have room in my brain for things a bit more important that Bible quotes. If I need to know something, I can look it up. Where does it say sex is for creation only and says it's not for pleasure? Honestly, what do you see wrong with having sex if you love your husband/wife, but not with the intent of creating offspring. Ohhhh you guys are Catholic right? You can't use condoms hey? Honest question.

Lots of people smoke without getting cancer. That does not make it harmless. The same applies to Harry Potter. You have played with fire and you have been lucky not to get burned.

I'm going to reply to both here. My minister teaches all of the Bible and states it is very important to follow ALL of the Bible, it was just me that sees a bit differently.
And yes, I know God says it is wrong to be homosexual, but I'm rather content with my friend liking other guys. I'd rather him be happy with another man than miserable throughout life. Even if he isn't a Christian. So if he isn't a Christian, I don't see what problem that is.

And may I say, I've seen some of your other posts, and 'lesbian slut' is offensive, and surely the word 'slut' should not be in your vocabulary, it might make you burn, just saying.

In fact just Google for the information. Now if these non-Christian people can see it (in fact the first link has the same pictures on page 2) then why can't you?

The whole point of subliminal advertising is that you don't notice it, it just gives you the urge to buy something and since "sex sells" that's the main route they go. So little girls buy something because it gives them a feeling of being "sexy" and then move on into being harlots, but somehow you think it's wrong that we protect our children from this?
