How early should you teach your daughter to shave?

Little girls need to learn how to shave at some point, so you might as well start when they still like to play with dolls:

If you are a woman, at what age did your parents teach you to shave?

Little boys, obviously, don't need to learn how to shave until they are 16, although every boy is interested in watching daddy shave his beard and can't wait to do it himself.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

That doll has some seriously hairy buttocks. Is that one of them Iranian babies? But why does it have red hair?

Re: How early should you teach your daughter to shave?

I'm sorry brother, but unless little girls are captured slaves, I see no biblical support for these claims of yours.

"10": When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive,

      "11": And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife;

      "12": Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house; and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails;

"13": And she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife.

"14": And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled her.
      Deuteronomy, chapter 21

I see that men might shave their heads, and ill people might be shaved, but this girls being shaved thing I see not in the Bible.

I have found some horrible translations of perverts like this site:

who seem to think religion is about sex.
Perhaps a peek here might clarify the matter:
      1 Corinthians, chapter 11

3: But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
4: Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
5: But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
6: For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
7: For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
8: For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
9: Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
10: For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
11: Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
12: For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of god.
13: Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
14: Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
15: But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
God gave her hair to cover things, it is not for man to take it away.
      Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

This is all well and good Brother Mayfield, however, it is as well to emphasize that it is the hair on a woman’s head to which Almighty God refers.

You know what unsaved trash are like – they read a few verses and, before you know it, they are translating “But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.” to mean that you should marry a Wookie!

Well, please show me the exact verse you're referring to. I can find it in the koran about plucking hair down there, but not in the Bible.

I don't see how you can defend shaving down there. In the first place it brings hands close to certain places they shouldn't be! What are Satan's cotton fingers? Women should be as hairy as possible. Are you saying they should be some sex object?

Could someone pull him aside and explain to him that this is exactly what the Bible is saying? Not a wookie! What is this Star Wars stuff?

Ahem, I have no desire to dispute the Lord’s Words with you and I am sure that we are on the same track but at different stages of our respective journeys.

However, the cutting of the hair refers to the woman’s head hair:

But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head:

You have it right, and I have never disagreed, sir! I believe that is was yourself who, in your pamphlet, “In Praise of The Hirsute Woman” (Landover Press $45.99 inc P&P) said,

“It should be like a bear-trapper’s hat”

And when I read it, I said, “Well put sir!”

Nevertheless, the satanic toy is equipped with legs like a ginger badger – Ginger! – would you have that?

Re: How early should you teach your daughter to shave?

My girls do not have to shave. When they are babies, we sear them to kill the hair follicles. Easy to hold them down, being they are so tiny, there is less area to work on.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I don't know what you guys are referring to, but I only mentioned this to refer to women who shave their legs and armpits (and maybe arms).
