I was spanked as a kid and I wholeheartedly thank my parents for doing so.

I am now in my late 40's and I look at the kids of today who are so undisciplined, have no respect for authority, have no respect for their parents, have no loyalty, want everything handed to them on a platter, have this sense of entitlement, and ....... I shudder.

I praise God that my parents loved me enough to discipline me appropriately.

We follow the actual Bible, as intended by God, to the letter. Everything in that Bible is logical, reasonable and perfect, so we have no problems with doing that.

Yeah, because we know that anyone born before 1980 didn't love their parents. At least with a beating it's over and forgotten. These days anything the kid does wrong, the liebrals want to drag on forever. The poor kid has some sort of "syndrome" or "disorder". That's healthier for a kids self esteem than a quick smarten up smack?

If you ever get the courage to meet anyone else than True Christians in the real world, you should seriously watch your language. Most not true christians would send you to heaven or hell before you could say:" Crankys guide to....*BAM*".... so please... stay behind your screen. People will not be as tolerant as i am...! Are you even allowed to use violence for raising kids in U.S.A? In mean by civil laws? I know you are by Gods law... otherwise you would not do it...
