You're right there. A-tists fail simple logic. That stray chromosome is either
    A:
something you get, also known as a choice or
    B: handed out by someone.
The $10K question for all a-tists out there is: if you didn't picked that chromo devil by your free will, who gave it to you?

Amen Brother. That is totally possible!

Down syndrome proves that God is real! Our old pal Richard Dawkins as mush as says so! Look, ask any evolutionist or pal of RDs for an instance where genetic information is added to a genome as a ruslt of a mutation....they can't because it can't happen that way. SO when information (the extra chromosone ADDED to the 46 we typically inherit from our parents) to have 47 chromosones that is the signature of Downs Syndrome we know it MUST be placed there with a PURPOSE! Obviously placed there by our Lord to identify those that HE knows will become the slackers, and drags on our society that HE knows they will become. He ADDS the extra information because it tends to make them look the same so we will at once know those that are making this lifestyle choice and at the same time to reveal himself by adding the chromosone to accomplish this. Evolution can't add information only God can. Praise God for making these slackers with Downs syndrome so we know them when we see them and to show us his hand!

The in utero SPL is quite high at around 90dB. Imagine what the the unborn heathen must hear. As the neural tube develops in such an environment it is the auditory perception which predominates, innoculating the fœtus against the message of Jesus (in that case). The mother will often say His Name of course but always accompanied by curse words &¿@@$y Jesus or worse, sex words £¿¢¥ing Jesus and thus envenomed the infant would be blasted forever UNLESS he had been CHOSEN.
Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the bellie, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the wombe, I sanctified thee, and I ordeined thee a Prophet vnto the nations.

The Bibles teaches us that Jesus knew His Own even before conception. Even when commanded to marry prostitutes - Hosea for example - we can be certain that God has matters well in hand and that such children will be secure within His Perfect Love. I dread to think what language such young Christians must endure but as God explained to Jeremiah it is not their age or pre-conception experiences that matter but His Holy Inspiration:
    JEREMIAH1
6 Then said I, Ah Lord God, behold, I cannot speake, for I am a childe.
7 ¶ But the Lord sayd vnto me, Say not, I am a childe: for thou shalt goe to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoeuer I command thee, thou shalt speake.
8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliuer thee, sayth the Lord.
9 Then the Lord put foorth his hand, and touched my mouth, and the Lord said vnto me, Behold, I haue put my words in thy mouth.

Jesus is my example. Satan would like me to go mad .boy is the joke ever on him!! I already have Jesus.

Amen Pastor, I suspect the unsaved are illiterate, or make claims dislexia(because they are lazy), or both.

Clearly, the secular educationing of these individuals has taken a greater downfall than I previously suspected.

Homeschooling, and Jesus in office would fix this whole problem.

Wow. How do you intentionally misread that Scripture that badly?

Jesus (who is God John 10:30) had that man born blind so that He could look good by curing him, "that the works of God should be made manifest in him."

Any real Christian knows that nothing happens, but by the Will of God.

Your reading comprehension is lacking, friend.

Jesus clearly stated that God made the man blind from birth specifically so Jesus could use him as a tool to demonstrate His awesome power by healing the defect. A stage prop, if you will.

Is it possible that God would do the same now? Create Down Syndrome children so that a new prophet could cure them, demonstrating God's power?

Of course not! When Jesus returns, He will slaughter 1/3 of all humanity! He's not going to be wandering to homes for the retarded and healing people.

This leaves only two options: The child sinned, or the parent.

Jesus never condemned or gave this man his illness, if you have never been around someone with down syndrome you would understand that many of them do work and have fulfilling lives. You seem to blame them for their illness as it is punishment from God, this is directly what Jesus addressed in the above passage against the Pharisees teaching that illness is a direct result from generational sin.

Jesus says that if we have faith yet no love, our words are a clashing cymbol; faith without love is meaningless. You my friend, and many others, are the exact fulfillment of this verse. Why do you scorn unbelievers and the sick when you yourself were once in darkness. Now that you have found the Lord Jesus you feel righteous enough to say spiteful things about those still in darkness. 2Ti 2:23-26 Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments. You know they cause quarrels. (24) A servant of the Lord must not quarrel. Instead, he must be kind to everyone. He must be a good teacher. He must be willing to suffer wrong. (25) He must be gentle in correcting those who oppose the Good News. Maybe God will allow them to change the way they think and act and lead them to know the truth. (26) Then they might come back to their senses and God will free them from the devil's snare so that they can do his will.
Obviously God made an example of him for the others in the area to learn from. He should of felt lucky to have had God Chosen him from birth. That blind man was truly blessed!
