    Perhaps the best example of repeating something over and over again, and simple minded people believing it, is this farce called god. You can't see, hear, or touch him, but when you're dead and all your nerve endings are decomposing, then you will be with him. It's people like you that I have to constantly remind myself that human beings are nothing more than stupid animals.

    I can see where you're going wrong. You seem to think that, since there is no God, nothing that happens can be the result of His curses.

    That is not what God says. He explains what happens when people choose to disregard His Just Law and what He will do to their children and to their grandchildren and in many cases to generations who will be born long after the godless fool who made the choice has died and passed from living memory.
    For example, what is the maiden name of your great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandmother?
    Now just imagine that her first child was born as the result of a union not recognised by God. It doesn't matter whether she, or her partner, or the society they lived in recognised the ceremony (if there was one). Jumping over a broomstick is pagan. God is clear that all pagans should be killed. Their children should all be killed. God does not recognise jumping over broomsticks as marriage because God does not recognise paganism as a valid belief system.
    Perhaps she wriggled through a hole in the ancient standing stone (a common ceremony in some places)?
    Standing stones are witchcraft. Everyone who gets "married" by wriggling through stones has chosen to reject God. Any resulting children are thereby subject to the consequences of that choice.
    Did your great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandmother worship idols (all catholics worship idols which means that no Romish "marriage" can ever be considered as valid by God and all papist babies are illegitimate)? So do you know if she was a catholic? Or a savage cannibal for that matter - not a few Europeans zipped over to Africa and produced babies with Hamites; after 10 generations it would be impossible to tell by mere visual inspection and yet the curse of Ham would remain current, current because of a choice
    Here is what The Bible teaches us about the sorts of lifestyle choices leading to curses such as the multitude of "psychoses" or "syndromes" and "disorders" described in atheistic medical literature.

    DEUTERONOMY 23
    2 - 3 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD. An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever:
    6 Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.

    EXODUS 20 & 34, NUMBERS 14
    EXODUS 20:3 - 5 [God speaking to Moses] Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

    34:5 - 8 And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.

    NUMBERS 14:17 - 18 [Moses speaking to God] And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my Lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying, The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

    GENESIS 9
    20 - 22 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
    24 - 25a And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. And he said, Cursed be Canaan;

    God does not avoid this subject and because He loves us He makes sure we know the truth of the matter, so that we do not fall into error. There is plenty of Scripture. When faced with ignorance I will post it. I make no apology for doing so. We have not just made this up because we think it sounds "cool" and in fact it doesn't sound cool at all, it is The Truth explained for us by God so that we will understand the grave outcome associated with rejecting His Perfect Love and thereby blasting future generations in all the ways we see around us. God continues:

    PROVERBS 1 & 3
    1:29 - 31 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
    3:31 - 33 Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous. The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.
    KJV . . . LOOK UP Proverbs 1 . Proverbs 3 . . . . CONTEXT

    DEUTERONOMY 30
    15
    See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
    16 In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
    17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
    18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
    19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
    KJV . . . LOOK UP . . CONTEXT

    JOSHUA 24
    14
    [Joshua speaking] Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
    15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
    KJV . . . LOOK UP . . CONTEXT

    There is plenty more. Notice in particular that to reject God is to hate knowledge (Proverbs 1).

    But God offers us a way out. Belief in His promise and acceptance of the Blood Of Jesus as powerful and Mighty To Save opens the door to Salvation.

    ISAIAH 7
    14
    Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
    15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
    KJV . . . LOOK UP . . CONTEXT

    PSALM 25
    12
    What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
    18 Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
    20 O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
    KJV . . . LOOK UP . . CONTEXT

    When we accept Christ, acknowledge the efficacy of His blood and appreciate the magnitude of the change it brought about when it dripped and then gushed out of Jesus making contact with the ground for the first (and last) time in history we are healed. The Bible tells us so. HERE.

    Yes, I do. 78% of Americans identify as Christian, and about 2.3 billion people worldwide. When Islam is added in, the majority of the world's population does, in fact, consider the Old Testament to be authoritative.

    Your ignorance of such basic facts is astounding. Does your Google not work?

    Now, back to the subject: Prove that God does not exist.

    Appeal to majority, also known as argumentum ad populum, is a logical fallacy. You lose.

    For your information (and you called yourself Christians, was that what you said? Baptists at that?!) Down's Syndrome is a chromosomal disorder in which there are 3 copies of the 21st chromosome instead of 2. God doesn't make mistakes. Those with Downs or Autism are not retarded. You can label them, but they have talents and great abilities and are wonderful children that God made.
