What if you're born with Asperger's Syndrome? What could you possibly have done, if you're only a young child when you're diagnosed with Asperger's? It's not an excuse to act uncivilized, it's a mental illness. I know a girl with Asperger's Syndrome; she doesn't talk to many people, but she's talked to me a few times. She's really shy, she tends to keep to herself, and yeah, sometimes she talks to herself but she can't help it. I think it'd be perfectly normal to be friends with her, as I've been nothing but nice when she's chooses to speak to me. She wasn't misdiagnosed, she has it, and she's as innocent as innocent gets. She's not retarded, she's just different, and I don't think something that you're born with should be a judging factor. It's not an excuse to be rude, definitely not. She barely interacts with any other people, how is that rude?

I don't have any clue as to why you people think it's alright to point fingers at people with mental illnesses and shout "retard!". I think that, if anything, people should be pointing fingers at you and shouting "asshole!" because honestly, that's what you all are. It's not like they wanted it, it's not like they did anything to deserve it. You shouldn't be anything but helpful and kind to them.
