    See, if you were a True Christian you would know what real love is. Spoiling a child by catering to their every whim and sparing their feelings will only give Satan the fertile soil he needs to corrupt them beyond recognition. They will spend an eternity in Hell while we parents sing the praises of God Almighty without them. Not that we'll shed a tear, of course, because being in the presence of God is just too great to be sad, but it would be bad for them. We're not monsters, you know. We love our children dearly.

    To the OP, I like to use natural consequences. My children like to eat and they are allowed that privilege only when they can show the proper respect. I would simply lock the children in the back yard where they can watch you and your lovely wife eat in peace with any child who recognizes the privileges you have graciously extended to them. It won't take long before their stomach reminds them of the necessity of proper manners.

      I'm getting them from a little thing called human decency. Ever heard of it? It's a more effective means of morals than the Bible, which is just a book of punishment, sex and lies. Every bible verse you quote seems to be full of those three.

      Now there's something I agree with. Spoiling never leads to any good, but abusing them is not the way to go. And how can you call yourselves parents if you'd let your children, your own flesh and blood, rot in hell just because they didn't obey you?

        If my children ever turned their back on Jesus I hope they burn forever.

        I would always hate my children if Jesus asked me to.

        Luke 14:26 f any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

        They are only my children but Jesus is my savior,

          How could you hate your children if some man, who you've never met, never spoken to, and never seen, told you to? You should love them with all your heart, and yet you would give them up for nothing.

          So what if he's your savior? They're your children! Nothing is more important then them

                          Children are like sponges and they absorb information. They accept the truth without question when they are young. When they are older they may reject the truth. Also it is obvious that we are living through the end times. The children have to be saved immediately, we cannot gamble with their little souls.
