This thread has to be one of the most ignorant things I have ever read on the internet. I shouldn't be wasting my breath preaching to these ignorant Christian follower about logic they will never see, but alas I feel that I must.

Obviously I am a filthy Gothic scum of the earth because I enjoy music in the metal genre; and apparently all these songs have devil worshiping lyrics and such. Whereas every song I can think of have all positive lyrics about wanting to become a stronger person, the corruption of government to a great outlook on life in general.

I, myself, have been raised a christian and even for the longest time devoted myself to the religion. Over the course of time I realized how unbelievably ignorant of a lifestyle it was and how many contradiction in the word itself there were, but I digress that is another topic

Back to how 'Gothic' I supposedly am. I live life a great life, make good grades, and keep mainly on a straight edge path.

Christians are supposed to care for one another and not judge thy neighbor and all that why make a big deal out of a lifestyle that mostly keeps out of YOUR business why cant you do the same, that is my question.

as for worshiping corpses that's great words coming from the fact that the Christian religion is heavily based on the worship of a reanimated corpse (Jesus).

To show only a couple. I know the New Testament speaks of not judging hypocritically, but there is no prohibition against judgment.

This is the first time I have seen some one write the truth about the disgusting gothic "culture". My daughter was a part of it (bad parenting on my part, I should have realized the danger earlier) and now look where she is. Well I don't know where she is, that's the problem, she left and my daughter is only 16. My advice, so that no other parent has to deal with this: don't let your child dress like, act like, or be around goths or any one who listens to heavy metal. Marina was a great musical talent, but she turned it to metal and now she's gone
