The penalty for the woman as a result of The Fall all was pain in childbirth, not to work (Genesis 3:16). Today, many girls are getting the wrong impression about their duties and obligations within the Body of Christ (Romans 12:5). Let's talk about the role of higher education and expectations placed on our daughters.
Friends, this blog post has been making the rounds on the interwebs. Although the blogger has the right idea, it is purely by coincidence, as he is a papist who worships the Cult of Rome rather than the King of Kings (Revelation 19:16). Nevertheless, his ideas are worthy of investigation. As a mother to a quiverfull myself, the issue of higher education comes up frequently.
True Christians™ know that college serves as a training ground for getting a job, nothing more. College graduates receive a diploma, not an education. Sending women out to work should be a very last resort, a source of embarrassment for a number of reasons. We should encourage our daughters to not make fools of themselves, to not follow the path of disappointment and shame.
Let's look at these reasons in turn.

- So-called "MRS Degree" attracts the wrong kind of men
Men who find college girl attractive are men who would send her out to do man's work. What kind of man wants to "marry" another man? Lovers of men, not lovers of God (Leviticus 18:22). The kind of men who will marry a college girl are the kind who want to pretend they're married to a provider, that is, another man. Sending her off to work every morning will make it easier to pretend he is sending off another man to work every morning. Have you ever noticed that career women have less children? It's because the homos don't want to see their wives pregnant, it makes it hard to keep up the fantasy.
- Temptation to sin is too great for a woman
College is a liberal hotbed of liberal lies, sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll. Women are natural nurturers, not warriors. They are easily duped by the emotionally charged lies and deceptions. Men, being closer to God, are more able to withstand the temptation to join the ranks of the liberal automotron (1 Corinthians 5:11).
"I understand why [Obama] wants you to go to college. He wants to remake you in his image."(Rick Santorum, Feb. 25, 2012)
- Prime childbearing years are wasted
Women have a God-given instinct to marry and have children (Genesis 30:1), and so are blessed by God with the natural abilities to nurture, as well as educate children. Today’s society has a very accessible conduit for that ability that is very conducive to family life: homeschooling.
- A college degree is not worth the investment for a woman
College is expensive. Getting a college degree often makes a young lady feel an "obligation" to use it, to make money in order to pay for the degree she purchased. Essentially, the degree is what actually traps her. True Christian™ marriage, on the other hand, isn't a trap even though by definition it does place her in a submissive role to her husband (Ephesians 5:23). You see, no one forces anyone to marry anyone anymore. She can grow old barren and alone if she really wants. She should go to the altar with full knowledge of what she’s entering into.
- Women should be humble
It's true that a wife and mother may become a widow while her children are still dependent upon a parent. Generally the LORD takes care of those who fear and obey Him (Ecclesiastes 12:13), but sometimes He does call a man home for reasons we cannot yet understand. In this case, a True Christian™ family would have insurance, which is very affordable for young couples who may be vulnerable to these VERY remote possibilities, which is why it is so affordable. A responsible family will have such coverage in place.
As for the husband leaving the wife, the possibility of being left in such a state would make a woman MUCH more careful about the man she decides to marry. Think about it. If you know you're throwing your COMPLETE trust and future on a man, you'll want one you can certainly rely on.
- She will regret it
Feminists are unhappy. They pretend they are happy by associating only with other feminists and getting other women to join them, but ultimately they are trying to deny what they cannot escape. They are unhappy because they are trying to be what they are not - men. You see, God created man and woman (Genesis 1:27), not a sexless babe to choose a gender as it matures. Women who deny their femininity are unhappy because they are denying their potential - to be wives and mothers. They are spiritually impotent. This is why feminists become lesbians, and why they remain on college campuses - to recruit more women to make them feel better (and also have lesbian "sex" with).
- Women in the workforce take jobs away from men, thus contributing to unemployment and poverty
Blessed is the man whose wife takes care of the family (Proverbs 31:15). Let's look at this logically: What would happen if every woman in the work force went home to take care of their families? There would be jobs for men. There would be no more unemployment, no more government subsidies for the unemployed, no more welfare programs. We could save millions and billions of dollars, which could instead be used for those things that are truly necessary for world peace - bringing the Word of God to all four corners of the earth so Jesus can finally return! (Matthew 24:14)
