Apart from Brother Eliot's simple and elegant response, I suppose I could refer you to those events that are known as "Acts of God". For the last 1600 years or so, and in the absence of a manifestation or the Second Coming, these have been recognized by the wise and learned as proof absolute of God's continuing interest in His Creation.

I think the difference here is that you think we are wrong and we know that you are.

I'm willing to be advised on this but I am suggesting that in your case you should take up Christianity in the same frame of mind that you take out insurance. With insurance, if it doesn't happen, all you have lost is money, if it does happen, you're safe - however, with Christianity, it costs nothing and the benefits are eternal.
