Southern Poverty Law Center says Landover Baptist is a "Hate Group"

In a very peculiar and strategic move, Southern Poverty Law Center listed us as a "Hate Group." While this puts in line for some profitable funding, it really misrepresents what we are all about here.

We here at Landover Baptist do hate, I admit it. But, what we hate is sin. Why are we a "Hate Group" for hating sin?

We also try to name groups who are sinners. This helps them change their sinful ways and accept Jesus.

What we do here is simply follow the Bible. The Bible has some demanding standards. But, it is not hate to condemn sinners like homosexuals. And, when God clearly met for Negroes and white people to not intermarry, it is not hate to advocate Negroes keep their distance.

We first learned we had made the hate group designation when we saw a mark on the SPLC hate map. The mark is located exactly on the Landover Baptist Church building. Southern Poverty did not use our name, but we know who they were referring to:

We follow the Word of God(c), how can following our Creator be Hate? We do as the Bible tells us, is that a bad thing?
It is obvious the poor people are jealous of the riches Jesus provides to those that give to their Pastor. The impoverished are always complaining. 'Poor me'.
Honestly, if they'd just close down these poverty centers, poverty would go away. There are no poverty centers in Landover and no poverty either that I have ever seen.

Absolutely, Brother James! Poverty is Big Business. And you just know that some of those claiming to help the poor are lining their own pockets. That is what happens to the tax dollars of hard, working Americans.


They would be better off giving the money to churches like ours. We know best how Jesus wants us to treat the poor. We should tell them: "Don't trust us. Trust the Bible. Which is why you can trust us."

Thank you for bringing this to our attention Mayor. I've often wondered why it was that the SPLC never made the Landover Baptist Church a "hate" group when the Westboro Baptist Church has been on their list for years. We've proven time and again that the Westboro Church are a bunch of liberals (founded by a Democrat) this is "soft" when it comes to living by the Bible (KJV1611). What's even more disconcerting is that so much attention has been paid to them when their membership at its highest was a paltry 70 or so members.

It still seems that the SPLC doesn't want to call us out by name - instead hiding behind placing us in a "location". Could it be that the God hating liberals that run the SPLC know we are right and fear Divine Retribution from some lightning bolts that Jesus might send their way?

Out of morbid curiosity, I wen to the website of the SPLC, after I had a website over-ride to my JesOS-Ver10.1 'Blissful Edition' granted by Pastor Ezekiel.
I was shocked, simply shocked at the hate displayed on that site. They seem to hate everything and everyone. How can such a low life group of cretins be allowed to publish that sort of disgusting garbage in the US of A. Surely there is a law that can be used to take them down. I was so offended by what I read.
Once my 'Gods Gold' web browser had permissions to view the site I realized that sort of thing is not what I want my children to be subjected to. Praise Jesus!

It is therefore clear that it is in the interests of the SPLC to keep people poor and prevent them from benefiting from the "trickle-down" effect of the entrepreneurs -

The SPLC encourages uppity nigras to be more uppity and favors them over the native white and thus causing racial tension of the sort Sen. Goldwater tried his hardest to prevent in the 50s and 60s. It wants to see them nigras all wasting police and politicians time and being granted "special rights" and "special treatment" until the poor white's pockets break under the strain of welfare and all-out civil war breaks loose.

They do this because they are communists and trouble-makers pure and simple.

When that happens, the SPLC will march in with their Stalinist policies and declare the US a one-party State and it won't be a theocracy! No SIR!

I've concluded the Southern Poverty Law Center is of limited intellectual ability.

True, there are Christian groups that hate. The liberal United Church of Christ for example. That so called Christian denomination hates heterosexual marriage so much it allows homer marriages in its facilities. But, the Southern Poverty Law Center does not list them as a hate group even with this evidence right in front of it.

So, it comes over and snoops around Landover Baptist Church. Here we are doing nothing but identifying sinners and helping them understand they are bound for an eternity in a fiery hell. We tell fornicators and sodomites alike about their sins.

As a "reward" for this Godly work, Southern Potty Law Center insults us as a hate group. Are we wrong to expect an apology?
