Does "Thou shalt not kill" include animals?

I do not believe so because why would there be animals on earth with such delicious meat if we werent allowed to eat them?
    Jesus saves.

No, and for a couple of reasons.

    1) God gave us dominion over the animals.
    2) "Thou shalt not kill" means "don't commit murder", as the Bible is filled with instances where we are commanded to commit warfare or legally execute for the most horrible of crimes (sodomy, bestiality, and disobeying one's parents, for example).

      I’m surprised you ask:

Ge:1:28: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Ge:3:21: Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

Ge:4:4: And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

Ge:9:3: Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

And Chapter 27 is absolutely full of meat dishes, and of course, Genesis is only the beginning; the Bible continues in this manner.

Can you show one place in the bible that says that we are supposed to be vegetarians? I didn't think so.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

As my father had always said "It's a sin to harm one of god's creations"
I stand by it as I hold slight respect for them. I mean they are God's creations right?
However if it's already dead and chopped up into food then you might as well eat it. Food shouldn't be put to waste.

Only If my life depended on it then I'd kill an animal.

Tell me, how exactly do you think it became dead and chopped up?

Animals are put to death because people create demand for meat by BUYING AND EATING it.

That chicken you ate today might have stayed alive if you'd not bought it.

If you eat the bird, you may as well have wrung its neck yourself, then bled it out, and plucked it, and gutted it.

MAN UP, boy, and recognize the realities of life!

Thou shalt not murder doesn't mean that you can't kill animals for food, but you shouldn't mistreat them while they're alive (as in the case of feedlots or cage-raised poultry), and you shouldn't kill them for sport.

Where did you get that idea?

Genesis 9:2: And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth [upon] the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.

In other words, animals have no rights that we are bound to respect. Now stop quoting only those Scripture verses that suit you; you should have figured out by now that we True Christians™ won't let you get away with that.

Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Well, fish aren't even animals really. Plus, Jesus can feed 5000 men from just one fish. So of course all that nourishment is not a result of murder, because Jesus would never kill anything.

Jesus kills us off as He sees fit. Who are you to quesion His Divine Timing(c)? When really bad things happen (like you get eaten by wild beasts, get killed in war, get sick and die, etc.), then you should know that it was God that did it to you.

Ezekiel 14:13 Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:

14:15 If I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts:

14:17 Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it:

14:19 Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast:

14:21 For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?
The only difference is, what happens after Jesus kills you.

Unsaved scum, queers, witches, liberals, joos, etc all go to eternal hellfire.

True Christians(tm) will spend eternity in Heaven, sharing a good laugh with Jesus while we watch those in hell be tortured in unspeakable ways. Shout Glory!!
