As for a Gay Forum, I DON"T think that is a very GODLY idea for Landover Baptist, the ONLY True Christian CHURCH on the face of the planet! This is exactly why we don't need a women's forum. For weeks and weeks, Arethusa has been allowed to communicate only with responsible, Godly men, and she was almost beginning to show signs of intelligence and virtue. A few posts' worth of banter with a fellow canuck harlot, and her immortal soul goes down the drain. Tragic, but this is why we need them here, to keep an eye on them.

For weeks and weeks, Arethusa has been allowed to communicate only with responsible, Godly men, and she was almost beginning to show signs of intelligence and virtue. A few posts' worth of banter with a fellow canuck harlot, and her immortal soul goes down the drain. Tragic, but this is why we need them here, to keep an eye on them.

Fascinating...You can't actually disban all attempts of a Women's Forum just over a mediocre post...If you're Godly Americans, then you should believe in privacy, Freedom of Speech and Press.

Uh, I believe it was Brother Eno & I who suggested that a forum might be in order for females to exchange recipes and tips for cleaning toilets.

A little comment about my being a "nancyboy" and my reaction to said comment (mentioning how I happen to be a woman) made me realise: there ought to be a Women's Forum here. I seem to recall there being one a while back, and since there's a forum for the men around here, I think it'd only be fair.

It'd be a place for ladies to trade recipes and household cleaning tips, and discuss womanly problems (so the menfolk don't need to stain their eyes reading about "the curse" anywhere else in the forum), and talk about different ways to keep Hubby happy. And for just general chick-chat, too. If you have a female problem (not necessarily your period, but other problems only us women can have), you can post it there, or maybe if you're a man trying to get help about a female problem your wife is experiencing, and someone will answer you in a helpful manner. See? Women get to gab and go on and on about things men find insignificant (as women will tend to do), and the menfolk around here don't have to endure it in other areas of the forum.

What do you all think?

Look, I know you're all Christians, and that sometimes impairs your logic, but we've gone over this Gods only know how many times: I am no homo-, bi-, trans-, pan-, or any other kind of sexual other than heterosexual. I don't know how long it'll take for you to grasp that, but I certainly do hope it's soon. The ladies of Landover will be notified if and when a decision is made. Pastoral deliberations cannot be rushed.

If God had meant for us to have some sort of "right to privacy", He wouldn't be watching over us all the time! He, in His infinite wisdom, knows that if we were left to our own devices, we'd be up to our eyeballs in sin.
God also doesn't give us "freedom of speech". In fact, He often forbids it! Don't believe me? Try taking His name in vain and just see what happens then. It shouldn't bother you to do so, considering how often and horribly you sin anyway.
