More Papal Leadership Brilliance!
I do appreciate that retro-fitting forty year old tractors and AMX Gremlins for solar energy is not easy so I suppose we can give Landrover Baptwit a pass for remaining, both technologically and theologically, stuck in the distant past.
Meanwhile, The Vatican have begun to move boldly towards renewable energy sources as part of a two-thousand year old plan to maintain our status as History's most socially progressive and spiritually pure movement.
It brings a tear to this old Padre's eye to knowing that beloved Pope Benedict, after discussions with our Heavenly Father, is so heartily continuing the Catholic tradition of forward thinking.
As I write this we have a crack team of experts at South Bend attempting to re-engineer existing solar technology to work with tin-roofed shacks. If they can solve the problem much of the third world, from India to Iowa, will once again benefit from Roman Catholic generosity.
