Cheating a second on the LORD!

    Friends,

I'm not sure you've heard this already, but according to the sickular calendar, this year will take one second longer than normal.

Now first of all, I don't follow all this hoopla. My calender is made up from days on wich Jesus talks to me and days when Jesus talks to me even more. February is just shorthand for "the month I can only worship Him for 28 or 29 days, depending on whether the year can be divided by four, unless it can be divided by 100, but with that last rule not counting when it can be divided by 400. This all sounds weird to me, so count me as one who just lives day by day until the Rapture® following JST (Jesus Standard Time).

Now about this added second... do evil so called scientwits try to confuse Jesus? Do they think He'll go "Oh darned, now I have to postpone My Rapture for one more second?

Moreover, are they trying to punish True Christians by extending the year where GWB admitted he DOES NOT BELIEVE IN THE BIBLE?

The fact that it postpones the inauguration of Osambo is not really something to look forward to either.

So Friends, I'm feeling a bit depressed by all this. My head is filled with seconds and Second Comings, wich leaves less space for Baby Jesus.

I hope you'll join me in my prayers, and ignore that second coming.

    Yours in Christ,

What is this rubbish? Messing about with God’s time is sinful. I seem to remember Daylight Saving Time not so long ago, when I was deprived of the work of my employees for an hour.

Think of the math; there are 3,600 seconds in an hour, why didn’t they just have 3,601 seconds and we could all have ignored it? Or better still why did they not just add another hour and then for the next 2,000 odd years no one need bother!

Sicular scientists! Huh! They make me sick!

Perhaps we should come to terms with the fact that this extra second WILL happen, wether we want it to or not. In order to stick it to "the man", we as Christians should simply take the extra second to say 1 additional Praise Him to 1 additional lost soul. Considering that there are millions upon millions of us here taking His work on our shoulders, the effect could be staggering. Imagine us taking thier forced second, and using it to shine His light. Those scientwits might just cry.
DO NOT ask questions! Just tithe. A LOT!
