No, it isn't.

Slang is merely informal, metaphorical, or idiomatic usage of the language. It is not a misuse or a debasement of the language. Any figure of speech is considered slang. If I were to say that trolls who come on this site who think they know everything and who think we are in need of an education are "a dime a dozen", that's slang.
