this is my first post and want to give a brief introduction on myself. i have seen and joined in numerous orders; jesuits, lassalians and even opus dei, i have seen that such groups only have small differences in their teachings, in that their methods of living the faith were in my view only passive ways, i have always seeked a more active way of living, i want to take matters in my own hands instead of waiting for change

this place... offers me a more direct approach in doing good, please friends, teach me your knowledge and ways so i can be a better person it appears that there is much for me to learn here

Marty, you aren't making a very good first impression.

God wants us to use discernment in who we befriend. The Bible does not tell us to be friends with all we meet. God wants us, through His love, to reject sodomites, witches, and all non-believers, just to name a few. I certainly hope that you aren't friends with those people.

Also, you might want to show some respect for Jesus by adhering to proper American grammar, spelling and punctuation rules. God cares about that too.

It is a sin to lie my son and we both know you were never a Jesuit. I understand why someone would want to be known as such, given the lofty standards and well earned reputation for exemplary service to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ we Jesuits enjoy, but you need to commit yourself to Jesus first and you clearly have not done so.

Why not give Catholicism an honest try and forget these Baptwits... as I am fond of saying in these parts...

If you feel anger or doubt, love those feelings as much as you love your feelings of joy and peace. Love your humanity as well as your divinity. Love your insecurities and your negative feelings. If you feel unforgiving, love those feelings too. Love all of what you call your "imperfections". You don't change them by denying or hating them. You change them by loving them. As you love your negative feelings they can evolve into their positive expressions.
