It shouldn't be about who is wrong and who is right, because in this case both sides can be right. All I am asking is that you simply act like the Christians you claim to be and show compassion and love. That is the basis of Christianity, and I am deeply saddened to see that some people have not discovered that.

Dear Mr. Bear, Obviously you and this Holy Board have gotten off on the wrong foot. As a member of the NHS and Spanish Honors Society at your school, I'm sure you regret that happening and would like to wipe the slate clean and start again.

I do believe that we have gotten off on the wrong foot, but unfortunately this cannot be healed. I have seen some of the most racist and hateful things I have ever seen posted by your "respected" members.

Racist and Hateful? Yes there's a lot of that here, but that's posted by Trolls and ignorant Atheists. This board is strongly opposed to racism so comments like that are quickly muted. Show us where a single True Christian(tm) ever said anything hateful or racist. You won't find it here!

As I said before, I am a born and raised Catholic(I'm Irish and Mexican, what else would I be?). I may not agree with many of the things that the Church preaches, but I do believe in the basics.

(a) although we love you dearly, we have no intention of wading through your waist-deep prose ramblings, and

(b) when you quote a previous post:
*go to the right-hand corner of the post you want to reference;
*locate the number of the post;
*click on that number and behold the new window that pops open;
*reference the url of that window and post.
Does that make sense?

It was clearly stated in my post that you quoted that I was responding to a question of where racism and hatred was located and I provided a link with multiple examples. So you are calling me a gay pedophile simply because I am Catholic? And you all claim to have no racism or prejudice on this site? Let me clarify my statement seeing as you have an obvious hatred for me for no reason and wish to misconstrue my statements for your attacks.

When I say I believe in the basics of Catholicism I mean I believe in the Holy Trinity and some of what is said in the Bible. I am not a creationist, I believe in evolution, but I do believe God indirectly created the Earth. I believe in science up until the big bang, because there is no explanation for how and why the big bang occurred. I believe that God was actually the one who made the big bang occur. The laws of science state that matter and energy can neither be created nor destroyed so in order for the big bang to occur someone/thing had to create both energy and matter. The only explanation that makes sense to me is the higher power of God who is not governed by the laws of science.

The question was on whether there was an example of racism posted by one of the members of this church. If you are saying referring to an African American as a "negro" and a "coon" is not racist then there is obviously something wrong with your definition of the word.
