  • I was wondering something

    Hi.

I have read this over and over again, (Genesis)

    20And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. 21And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

And I was just wondering. If God had already made MAN (Adam), and then all the beasts and birds and such, then decided to make Woman to be his help meet, much later...I was wondering then if when Adam was first made by God, did God make him with a, you know...a....thingy? Because what would he need a thingy for, if woman hadn't even been invented yet?

It has always seemed to me that our reproductive systems were a cobbled together bunch of baling wire and duct tape, trying to make the DWV plumbing do something it wasn't originally designed to do.

Would this be Biblical support for my opinion? Why would God design Man with a 1/2 reproductive system, if he hadn't even yet contemplated making a woman? And then done a hack on his previous design to add on the required functionality?

This has been one of my most perplexing questions.

    thanks

God already knew He would make woman, so there's really no question. He was just letting Adam have some peace within His garden before He subjected him to the constant complaining.

but clearly, that situation couldn't last very long, because eventually Adam would get hungry and who was going to cook dinner?

        Friend,

The key point here was the The Garden was paradise so Adam had everything he needed. Note: no woman was created with him. Once God realized Adam needed something before Adam homered himself God created women and that is were the problems started.

Show a woman a snake and God only knows were that is going to end up.

Before woman ate of the tree, and seduced Adam, there was no need to cook. God provided everything they needed to survive. I still can't fathom why that evil woman would shun paradise to disobey God.

Also, I can't help but wonder whether Adam was punch-drunk or exhausted when he named the iguana and ginko, or the Quetzaquatl. At that point, God must've decided that Adam was putting in too much overtime and needed an assistant.

Why are you so obsessed with magic sticks (in case there are children reading this forum)?

I guess we can rest assured that if we banish Virgin Whore to the Landover Nympho Care Center for a few weeks there will be no threat that she will become malnurished. Lets just say she has plenty of protein in her system, if you know what I mean.

                  Friend,

Perhaps you should worry more about getting Jesus to find you the right man and stop with this thinking. Your feminine brain is not meant for it.

So then all men are originally homos, and we (girls) saved them? But we were not very good little doobies either...

I guess what I'm hearing is that Adam and Eve were "Man&Woman Vers. 1.0"

And there's obvious problems with a prototype. But that's what a prototype is for, to sort of work the bugs out.

I guess Jesus is Vers. 2.0...

Before "Adam homered himself"...oh THANKS BJ,for that truly lovely mental pic!

Or,if we want to be realistic a more likely possibility: "God" mucked it up in the designing-your-human department & had to cobble something together
quickly to try & fix it.

Well, Lilith, if you like to believe that you women are something God "cobbled together quickly", then by all means, run with it.

There may be more truth in that than you realize.

I can definitely surmise that you are indeed a man. Any woman who has passed the age of, oh, 12 or 13, HAS NOT THE SLIGHTEST DOUBT, on a monthly basis, that we're cobbled together like a quaker quilt.

I was referring to the male of the species, they having been made first according to de book.

Obviously by the time god got around to creating females,he did a better job of it.

No, it was more like the "home edition".

The feature set and specifications did not need to be as robust.
