Christianity is a good thing, don't get me wrong.

The morals you teach and live by make the world a better place, if everyone was christian i'm sure the world would be great.

However, you live your lifes so strictly that it makes you miss out on a few real treasures of life.

So I leave you with the thought:

Actually, I am familiar with Pascal's wager and I have to say there are points that I do agree with him.

In particular I like Pascal's teleological argument and St thomas aquinas's cosmological arguments.

However there is the issue of an imperfect world that can make us doubt the existence of god, but if we took this on to be a test such as in the story of Job then that would be explainable.

However I do believe in god, I just do not believe in any specific religion. I feel we are trying to hard to understand something which is too far beyond our comprehension.

How so? The KJV1611 Bible is perfect, God is perfect there therefore TRUE Christianity(tm) is the TRUE religion. Why would you persist on following something that false?

But, back to Pascale's wager' it clearly shows the reasonable thing to do is be a TRUE Christian(tm).

Bobby Joe, did you ever cry due to an event that was out of your hands. Maybe an accident or a freak of nature (Hurricane etc) that caused you harm?

and yes Pascal's wager would show that christianity is a better choice if the other option was nothing, but what about if say another religion is correct. Say Islam was infact the true religon.

Then why are you here? You have the answers that appear to satisfy you. The answers we proffer are not want you want to hear. Close minded of you, but that is your prerogative.
