      Re: A thought for you.

Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, and Joseph Smith all carry the word of God in that order.

I think Jesus being the second major prophet would reinforce that God isn't exclusive to any one religious sect. In fact, God may even be capable of changing his mind.

God can do anything, but do you think he's going to change just because you showed up?

          Re: A thought for you.

He changes his mind on his own. The Prophets only voice his word to the people.

          I'm not a prophet. =P

I'm just responding when people say to "The Damned" "how to you know the word of God?" He knows God's word from a source different from yours. Who is to say who is actually knows what God actually wants, or if all/none of the words from these prophets are legitimate.

All religions are just speculations on what God wants humans to do. Probably, no one but a prophet can truly know. But it's still healthy to discuss it and help form a better understanding for ourselves and others.

You all seem to fail to realize, this is a CHRISTIAN BAPTIST discussion web forum. It is not a forum for debating different religions. We follow the KJV 1611 Bible. Period. We feel all other variations are untrue and incorrect. Period. Is that such a hard concept to grasp?

This is what everyone thinks of their own religion or beliefs. Not everyone can be right when they say something like this. There's gotta be some reason why it is the one true religion. In addition, what about Catholics, Methodists, Lutherans, and the like. I see them as Christian as Baptists are.

                        Re: A thought for you.

The issue here is that the exact thing can be said to you.

Nobody is actually made right and only those who think they have all the answers feel validated in saying that.

It's fine to believe... but you can't just flatly say... No! You are wrong. You can only say "I believe/have faith in..."

                            That's true, Richard.

You have no solid proof that your religion is right, and neither do I. Until we have solid proof(no, the bible is not solid proof[even though I want it to be]), then we can not say that our religion is right.
