Was recently traveling (something I do not do very often these days) and had to stay overnight at a motel.
Upon getting sited in the room, I noted the Gideon Bible, and was surprised to see it was a King James.
But as it turns out, an 'updated' version of the Blessed 1611.
I am of 2 minds about this, tampering with the Word is certainly outrageous, but on the other hand, there being so few opportunities for exposure to any religious materials for the unSaved masses, I have to admit my heart was gladdened to see it there, in any form.
