    A Perfect World

Let's pretend that a perfect world exists in the future. What would it entail? Lets say that God at one point smites all non devout Christians and leaves the earth to be inhabited only by the people who wholeheartedly revere him. What would this world be like?

I said that wrong. I meant to say:

Lets say that God at one point smites everyone who isn't a devout Christian and leaves the earth to be inhabited only by the people who wholeheartedly revere him.

Don't you have a copy of the Bible? There is no "let's suppose" involved. God will bring all TrueChristians™ to Heaven to live with him in mansions of GOLD while all non-believers burn in Hell for all eternity. That is THE future that awaits you. Where will you end up?
      Yours In Christ,

Oooooooooo Pretend time! How about we all pretend DerekB here has left, won't that be fun! Then we will not have to read his absurd comments.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Let's pretend that we know how to find Revelation ch. 21 and 22 in the Bible. What do you suppose we can find there?
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Derek what you call "pretend" is actually what will happen.

Read your Bible and see how ALL the prophecies have come to pass. Then you will see there is enough evidence within the Bible itself to take it very seriously. All you have to do is pick up a newspaper and your Bible and see how God's plan is unfolding.

%99 of the prophecies have been fulfilled only the tiny little bit at the end remain. And that includes, as mentioned above, gold mansions in Heaven for True Christians(tm) and eternity in hell for scum like you.

You play your little pretend games chum and when your burning in hell for eternity I'll be sipping my martini out of a solid crystal glass in front of my solid gold mansion with Jesus.
Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. (Psalm 11:6)
