I am amazed at the character shown my Michele Bachman. As many of you know, I have been attending many of her anti-socialism rallies as part of my Tea Bagging efforts. All this time while she has railed against government handouts, not ONCE did I hear Rep. Bachmann tell people that she was a farmer.
Now the lefty-pinkos of the world are going into damage control, trying to spin this, like they spin everything. They are pointing out that Michele's farm, in which she holds a $250,000.00 stake, has taken more than a quarter-million dollars in government handouts thanks to "corrupt farming subsidies" she has been collecting for at least a decade. What utter nonsense! Sure her farm has taken a huge amount of money from the U.S. tax payers while she has been creating angry mobs by speaking out against government handouts. But to compare farm subsidies to public health care is absolutely ridiculous! One is a moral and ethical duty to save the lives of literally thousands of Americans every year. While public healthcare, on the other hand, is an attempt to turn us all into pinko-nazi-fascist-commies.
I have said it before and I will say it again...public healthcare is an atheist plot to try and prevent us all from going to meet Jesus!
It should be noted that Mrs. Bachmann, in ranting against government handouts while secretly accepting subsidies, has shown her true character: one of humility. Let me explain. She COULD have used the fact that she is a farmer to try and win superficial brownie points with the voters. She could have told the voters that she was just like them. Specifically, she is just like all the Tea Baggers because in addition to the $174,000.00 salary from her day-job (and a government pension, government health benefits, and government run social security benefits), she also collected over $50,000.00 from farming last year. Sure she didn't actually go to the farm and do any farm work, but the point is the same: She is just like any other blue-collar worker who makes over $250,000.00 every year in addition to her large government-funded and government-managed benefits, including health care benefits. NONE of them want the government mucking about by handing out handouts!
ALL of us benefit from the subsidies she took. Do you know how much corn ACTUALLY costs? If her farm HADN'T taken over a quarter of a million dollars in government subsidies, it would have failed, and it would have taken the U.S. along with it. There is no WAY a U.S. farm can compete in the free market for corn. That the government has seen fit to prop up corn prices is a patriotic decision and Mrs. Bachmann's acceptance of these handouts is a patriotic move.
I salute Michele Bachmann. Some will call her a hypocritical welfare queen, but I call her a humble patriot...and a TrueChristian™!
