    How can i know if the bible is real?

    I started thinking, and many things in the bible seem like they could never happen. How could Moses split the ocean? How did they get around without any horses? I have read the bible many times and not one time do they mention monkeys in the bible. (The ancestors of humans of course being monkeys). I know that no christian believes in Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve is of course just something to get you to start reading the novel. Yes I said it, Novel! The bible is just starting to seem like a novel to me!

    I want to be a good christian, please help.

      Don't you think someone who can create everything could also handle some minor details like moving around some water?

      We humble people have limited capabilities. If you really read the entire KJV1611 Holy Bible you will notice it is so perfect, so extremely consistent, so crystal clear, that no ordinary person could ever have created it. So the sheer quality of the book proves that it is created by someone with capabilities far beyond that of a human being.

      Since the Holy Bible clearly could not have been written by a mere mortal and also clearly states to be the word of God: 2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" logic dictates there can be only one conclusion. God exists and the Holy Bible is His word!

          How can you not know it is real? I mean really, if you are having a hard time believing in burning bushes that talk, God flooding the world and two of every animal on a boat, city walls falling from trumpet blasts, virgin births, the dead getting up and walking, Jesus riding a horse with a fiery sword that comes out of His mouth and etc, I don't think you and I have much to discuss.
          Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.
