    Cow-Pie Bingo; Is it OK?

There is a little City about an hour northwest of Freehold that sponcers a really big 4th of July, Independence Day, celebration each year. That is Gowrie (Iowa). About 1000 people live there but about 10,000 come each year for the celebration. The New York Times did a story about it several years ago.

I like to go up there, shake a few hands, and let folks know that the City of Freehold is their friend and Landover Baptist is available should anyone be seaching for a church.

Now, there is a new wrinkle and I need advice. They have introduced gambling in the form of Cow-Pie Bingo. It is, of course, a game where one bets that the cow will deposit its special gift in your particular square designated on the grassy field.

I'm wondering if putting a few dollars on this game would fall under the prohibitions of KJV 1611? Now, some may think it a little strange that I'm worried about such a question, "Look, it's just a little thing, why take it so seriously?"

But, I believe life is a slippery slope and a person needs to be cautious about all things related to the Word of God. If someone has a clear answer it would be most appreciated.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

While this would not apply to you, I have a concern that putting a cow out in public for the specific purpose of it being watched while defecating would appeal strongly to a certain deviant element.

There is certainly enough sex and depravity in the world as it is, and parading around pooping cattle as a form of entertainment seems like something one might be more likely to find in Godless India.
Jud 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are unGodly among them of all their unGodly deeds which they have unGodly committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which unGodly sinners have spoken against him.

Hmmm, bulls**t and bingo. This sounds like the Catholic church, and we know they aren't Christians.

Brother Johny Joe, I greatly fear that betting on where a cow drops its load is little different than casting lots:
        Matthew 27:35
And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

        Mark 15:24
And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.

If you follow this urge it could be the slippery slope to other such activities and your eternal soul might be in danger.

gambling is a sin it makes me and angry dragon

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. Timothy 6:10

Gambling is a vice and a sin.

(PS, if you're laying a bet, put $50 on for me on a square to the right of the gate: Ne:12:31: Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate.)

I guess it's better than having to mark your bingo sheet with cow dung.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

I think as long as more than 50% of your winnings is generously donated to the Pastors Special Use Fund, God would not have a problem with a littel high spirited fun.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

The pastime is biblically sanctioned. As long as the faeces are consumed:

EZ 4:15 (KJV) "... I have given thee cows dung for mans dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith."
