I have been told many times that "lutefisk is really good if you know how to cook it." Since most of the Minnesota lutefisk recipes I have been served were mushy--more like a "fish pudding" and not at all appetizing I can attest that is true. Lutefisk purchaed in the U.S. has been rehydrated and must therefore be cooked carefully so that it does not fall into pieces.

Properly prepared lutefisk should remain firm and look like what you see in the photo.

Lutefisk does not need any additional water for the cooking; simply place it in a pan, (do not use an aluminum pan as the lye in the fish will discolor the pan)salt it, seal the lid tightly, and let it steam-cook at very low heat for 20–25 minutes.

You can also make traditional Minnesota lutefisk recipes in your oven. Place the fish in an ovenproof dish, cover with aluminium foil, and bake at 225 °C (435 °F) for 40–50 minutes.

Another option is to parboil the lutefisk. Wrap the lutefisk in cheesecloth and gently boil until tender. This usually takes a very short time, so watch the fish and remove it before it begins to fall apart.

People who are athiest, I believe say there is no god as an excuse for them to get away wiht something they know is a sin.

This is a tired old argument. Statistics show that having faith makes a person no more likely or unlikely to break the law or get a divorce. Faith does not therefore influence morals.

Also people say why doesnt god just show himself and my answer to that is Faith. What use what it be if god just showed himself to everyone and then everyone just switched to christian, God wants people who have faith and are loyal not people who see him and then suddenly believe.

This is ridiculous. God is not hiding himself to test your faith. God does not exist.

Also Athiest who dont belive in god explain to me about ghosts then? Dont say thier not real either because my dad and stepmother have both seen demons, and if you want to know about it i would be more than happy to explain.

Im not a perfect christian, no one is infact ive had my doubts but after talking wiht my Step Mom and my Dad and thinking about the miracles that have happened to me i do belive there is a god and thats called faith.

There is no such thing as miracles. If a man is diagnosed with cancer and is given 3 months to live but then lived 20 years it is natural. Our bodies fight off cancer all the time. Sometimes we win and sometimes cancer wins. This is expected so why do some people want to call it a miracle?

What would the authors have to gain by making a forgery? What would the alleged human authors, as you believe (in lieu of God, which we believe to be true), possibly have to gain by writing a book such as the Bible as complete fiction? What could they possibly achieve by writing such an outrageous tome that includes talking burning bushes, people turning into pillars of salt, dead bodies being reanimated and a man turning water into wine? Either all of those things happened, and the Bible has divine authorship, or they didn't and the Bible was written by a bunch of ancient tent-dwelling middle eastern goat-herders that would let their goats pee on their faces to fulfill some sick sexual fantasy. Now you have to consider what is more likely: a man walking across a very deep body of water or someone making up a story about a man walking across a deep body of water (for no reason). I, and all of the Christians in the world, believe that the former is the more feasible option.

Likewise you must consider all works of the written word in this equation. What purpose would J.K. Rowling have in making up the world of Harry Potter? What is in it for her to make up the magical world of Hogwarts with all of its interesting characters and page-turning adventure that has captivated readers both young and old? There is nothing in it for her to make up a story like that. Obviously the only explanation is that Hogwarts and Harry Potter are real, which is why the United States Government must find Harry Potter and the other witches and wizards of Hogwarts so they can conduct tests on them and utilize their powers in military weapon defense before the radicalized Islamists get to it (to be fair, the halftime stoning of harlots would be a refreshing addition to the game of Quidditch, though). Word on the street is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is very close to enriching a level one love spell. Once he cracks the magic wand matrix... well I don't have to tell you what's going to happen. Let's just say that the new He Who Shall Not Be Named will have that moniker because it will literally be too hard to pronounce his name.

Many people have laughed at me for getting my "panties in a bunch" over books like Twilight and Harry Potter because, as they say: "they are just works of fiction." But the problem with that is I ACTUALLY BELIEVE THIS STUFF IS REAL! I honestly believe there is a high school in Oregon somewhere that has a lonely girl that is currently in the throes of a tumultuous relationship with a mysterious vampire and a teenage werewolf... and it scares the crap out of me!

As a Christian I must believe every word that is written in every book ever penned, or the Bible means nothing. Otherwise I've just wasted my entire life searching every corner of the globe for Waldo.

I find it very interesting that you object against the Holy Bible, which contains eye witness reports of people who actually met Jesus, yet at the same time accept the big bang theory which even among scientists is highly controversial.

E.g. the big bang does contradict, not explain, the accelerating expansion of the universe, there is the horizon problem, the flatness problem that can be derived from Friedmann–Lemaître–Robertson–Walker metrics, the Baryon asymmetry, etc. etc. But I am sure as a believer in the big bang theory you have studied all those contradictions and have explanations for them? Or could it be that you simply have no idea what you are talking about? Just look up the things I mentioned here on the Internet and actually investigate something for the first time in your life.
