Read the Hunger Games by Suzzanne Collins. It's almost EXACTLY like that. The main charactor isn't accused of witchcraft though.

As I was not referring you or I the use of the third-person pronoun "they" is correct. I do understand that English is a foreign language to you Rody.

"They" may be correctly used to refer to a single person of indeterminate gender (instead of he/she or him/her); however, in that case, you would correctly write, "they are not an amputee".

As written, you have multiple partners.

If you have only one, then your use of "they" can only lead me to assume that you do not know the sex of your own partner.

Finally, what you are writing ("Rody") is pronounced like the nickname for a rhododendron ("rhodie"). Do you mean "Roddy", which would rhyme with "Noddy" (and come close to, say, "Naughty")?
